The fact is that Terrence Williams, a senior, was an inconsistent offensive player who couldn't finish at the rim as well as people here are saying.
I like Williams too, not because of his offense, but because of his defense and rebounding.
And I think people here are really underestimating Gerald Henderson

Give me Williams 100% over Henderson. There are plenty of guys that struggle at the freethrow line Rondo is one just off the top. Its no big deal the key is having someone who can put pressure on the interior of the defense.

This guy seems like a very hard worker. Would love for BC to pick up another first rounder and draft him!

My guess is he'll end up in Detroit.

"Defensive player of the year as a point guard is what I want".

lolwut?

Good video though. GP looks like a pretty decent coach and motivator.

If he falls down to the 20s, you take him without hesitation...
Although, I highly doubt he'll get pass #15 or #16...
Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?" - Jesus Shuttlesworth

T Will is from Seattle. They've known each other for a few years.

I like TWill. Truth be told, if the Holy Trinity is off the board I wouldn't mind him in a Raps jersey.

T-Will won't make it past the lottery just based on his athleticism. He's a better prospect than Joe(y) (Graha)lexander and he went 8th in a strong draft.

T-Will! T-Will!- T-Will!

Especially since Kapono's gone, we need this guy in our now open wing rotation. I just dont have enough faith in Derozan and Evans. Toughness, athleticism, ability to run and create the fast break, and one of the best rebounders in the history of college basketball, not too mention the best dunker on this team since VC. He could backup the 1,2,3 immediately. If BC picks Derozan, then in BC i trust. Evans on the other hand does not seem like a good mix with Jose. But T-Will is the perfect fit for our team.

What does this team need

Perimeter defense- check
Rebounding- check
Toughness- check
Play maker/vision- check
Leadership- check
Athleticism- check
Potential- check
3PT shooting to replace JK and AP- check
Work ethic- check

What offense will we run this season? The run n gun
What system is best suited for Terrence Williams? The run n gun

Why? Defense, rebounds, steals lead to fast break points, he is the best of his class. He not only can get the stops, the steals and rebounds but once in the open court he has tremendous vision and can throw it down VC style.

Why the run n gun never got off the ground last year? Jose was to passive, and we couldn't get stops or rebounds consistently as a team. Williams shores up Jose's passiveness, Williams shores up the rebounding, Williams shores up the perimeter defense which takes serious pressure off our bigs and helps hide Jose Calderon's horrible D. You can''t be a running team inbounding the ball.

His shooting percentage has improved year by year, his 3PT% is second best at his position in the top 15 ranked players on this draft, only Curry being slightly better. He was used as more of a facilitor in college, he I believe got way less attempts than his counterparts in the draft simply because of the system and his unselfish atttiude. If you watch him shoot his mechanics are fine, infact they look very good which leads me to believe he will only continue to improve his FG%. Ive watched several of his draft workouts where they line him up on the FT line and I havn't seen him miss one yet. Today they had him workout in Washington, you can view the video on their website, in it I don't think he misses one single shot through the entire video.

With Terrence Williams you are getting a lightning rod of energy, they call him the King Bull for a reason his tenacity is unmatched, he walks with a swagger, he does anything and everything to win a ball game and leaves it all on the floor every night. He is a double double, triple double threat, getting several of each in college.

I see him as an Igoudala clone, I see him as the steal of this draft, I see him as a player teams will look back and say why the Frack wasn't this kid atleast considered in the top 5 of a weak draft.

He has worked out for the Raptors twice this year already, the only one to do so. He also worked out for the Raptors last year before deciding to go back to college. You can view video of him talking with BC after his workout this year in which Bryan told him I think your a better shooter than your FG% suggests. You don't bring a guy in three times over a span of a year and half if you don't have interest and so I think there is a serious chance he becomes a Raptor.

He has just as good of chance at becoming star than any other player to be picked at 9, only better imo and you strike gold with the fact that he also fills several of our needs.

Difference Maker: Louisville's Terrance Williams. No player in this region gives his team as much as Williams, who scores, rebounds, passes and sets the emotional tone for his teammates.

NBA draft combine, he proved his worth in terms of athelticism, across the board he showed as the one of the most complete atheletes comapred to those at his position, only Harden performed better imo

He's either Terrence Williams himself or his agent.

What does this team not need?
Inconsistency - Check.

I want him on this team just as much as anybody but I don't see it happening. We'll end up with DeRozan or Holiday. Both very risky picks btw.

He's one of my favorite prospects anywhere outside the top 6 or 7. He will be available at the thirteenth to 15th slot, so if the Raptors were to take him, hopefullly they'd trade down for him. I can't see him slipping into the twenties. Obviously someone always falls further than expected, however he may be the best all around defender in the draft so someone serious about winning will want him.

I'm glad Colangelo and company are giving him such a long look. If we could get a point guard or combo guard who isn't afraid to push the tempo for us he'd be amazing here. One of the best fast break players in the draft. And maybe the most exciting finisher, which may not show up in the stat sheets, but it gets the crowd excited. We all want to be entertained afterall. His defense is his best asset, but preventing us from being such a boring bunch of stiffs is a definite bonus. He'd be a fan favorite from day one.
