I don't think I've seen a player his size and length that could handle the ball, penetrate, score and set up his teammates since...I DONT EVEN KNOW!

Last month he went for 15-10 at 19 years old.. he is so athletic, so talented... in a trade if u get also Belinelli(useful guard at least).. and another player.. than u can retain Marion and have a very talented roster, with lenght, athleticism.. potential for the future, but still enough talented to compete, with guys like Calderon, Andrea, ( a MAggette or Steph Jack or someone else from Bosh).. inside a couple with Andrea and Randolph is very long.. the gsw guy lacks strenght but he will be a PF a la Odom and better

People do not understand Curry's reason for wanting to be a ballerina. He wanted to be able to contort his body to be able to fit in the fridge.

They are really high on him which is why I don't think they'll give up the type of packages people suggest for Bosh.

When Odom states he'll be a hall of famer, then when he receives playing time you see him bring the ball up court, cross people over, behind the back dribbles, penetrate, dunk, pass, rebound at a beast rate.. its easy to understand why GSW is enamored with him

Randolph will be awesome, GS is right to make him untouchable.

Warriors fans would have you believe that Randolph is practically in LeBron territory in terms of "untouchability". That's probably an exaggeration but I don't think the Raptors could get him, even with a Bosh package.

Yeah, I don't know what part of "untouchable" people don't understand. That means GSW would rather pay AR mid-first round rookie scale salary than the max to Bosh (or worse yet, lose him in 2010). Crazy, huh?

Untouchable means we'd have to agree to take Maggette and Crawford off their hands. Forget about any positive assets.

He's only going to be easily better than Bosh if we're talking about Joel.

+1

Although the potential is there for him to be scary good. He has very unique skills for a guy his size. If he is able to play with a lot more control and focus and work on the weaker aspects of his game, like developing a consistent jumper, the potential is there.

If the additional weight is true, it'll be interesting to see how it impacts his game. It may actually limit some of that explosive athleticism that his game was solely based around last year.

too many people here acting as if real life is nba2k9

Lets trade bosh for AR, we need to spice things up, put AR through some practice drills, send him to development camp, tank 1 season and if everything goes well AR might be rated afew points higher then bosh. Then get a great draft pick develop him too. Make sure they both have the potential triangle maxed though. Maybe simulate acouple of seasons till we sign some great FAs here too. I could keep going on and on...

I agree with you. Randolph hasn't done jack in the league so far.
Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?" - Jesus Shuttlesworth

If you look up the word untouchable in the dictionary you will see a picture of Anthony Randolph.

Randolph averaged 15.9 points, 11.6 rebounds, 2.4 blocks and 1.3 steals per 36 minutes last season. Bosh has never and will never match those numbers in rebounding, blocks or steals. In the second-last game of the season, Randolph (who is 19 years old) had 24 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals and a block against San Antonio.

Warriors fans wouldn't trade Randolph for Bosh right now even if their contracts matched, and I don't blame them. The only edge that Bosh might maintain over Randolph is scoring. And when you consider that Randolph had 15.9 points per 36 and a .462 FG% in his rookie season compared to Bosh's 12.3 points per 36 and .459 FG% in his rookie season, it's quite possible that Randolph could catch him there, as well.

Randolph is an example of what Bosh-supporters don't take into account when they claim that Bosh will become a top 5 player in the league now that Garnett and Duncan are in decline. They don't realize that guys like Randolph, Beasley, Rose and Roy are all already nipping at his heels at a much younger age.

Plus the guy looks so cool out there.

Style points favour AR over Bosh.

I think we could still have a chance to get him.. if we get also a contract they don't like ( maggette for example)

GState has always been the best trading partner for Bosh imo. However, if they don't want to part with AR then the options become less attractive. Beans/Buike/crap contract and a first rounder or something along those lines would be what we'd have to settle for.

The good thing is that GS is a crappy franchise who makes silly moves.. especially with nelly.. They could ultimately trade this kid.. I think him with Belinelli(that they don't value much), + a contract won't be refused.

Using per stats to argue that a player has accomplished something in the L. That's a first.
