E' previsto il tutto esaurito a Conegliano Veneto, alla Zoppas Arena, per la gara Italia-Canada di domani, sabato 1 agosto, alle 20,30 (differita Rai Sport Più 22,30).
Quella di Conegliano è l'ultima amichevole prima dell'inizio, il 5 agosto a Cagliari, dell'Additional Qualification Round con la Francia.
La gara di Conegliano serve all'Italia per: "verificare i nostri progressi -dichiara Carlo Recalcati, ct azzurro- sia la crescita fisica individuale, sia quella tecnica di squadra. In questo periodo abbiamo provato nuove cose tecnicamente, abbiamo aggiunto qualcosa perché il nostro progetto è di lungo periodo".

L'Italia incontra il Canada per la seconda volta in sette giorni. La prima volta, lo scorso 25 luglio fu a Trento nella gara inauguarale della Trentino Cup dove l'Italia vinse 91-69: "Il Canada da allora è cresciuto. Ha giocato e vinto altre quattro partite (con Nuova Zelanda e Portogallo alla Trentino Cup e con Angola e Turchia nelle amichevoli di Bormio, ndr). Sarà sicuramente una partita importante e un test vero. Per quanto ci riguarda ci aiuterà ad aumentare la conoscenza reciproca per giocatori che per la prima volta, in Nazionale, si sono incontrati lo scorso 5 luglio all'inizio del raduno di Bormio".

Il Canada e poi la Francia il prossimo 5 agosto. Il primo incontro dell'Additional Round di Qualificazione è comunque un pensiero latente, ma comunque presente: "L'importante è arrivare pronti. Loro sono i favoriti, ma questo non significa meno responsabilità per noi, ma sicuramente maggiori stimoli. Belinelli e Bargnani sono le prime punte di questa Italia, ma hanno bisogno della squadra ed inoltre non possiamo permetterci soluzioni monocordi, al momento opportuno dovremo saper trovare altre soluzioni. Abbiamo un gioco storicamente diverso. Loro hanno il talento e l'atletismo, noi il lavoro attento in difesa, il gioco organizzato e la distribuzione delle responsabilità."

Carlo Recalcati sceglierà i dodici giocatori che incontrano il Canada dopo l'allenamento di tiro di domani mattina.

I missed the last game too, i really wanted to watch these. I tried Italian proxies and everything, still didn't work.

I missed the last game too, i really wanted to watch these. I tried Italian proxies and everything, still didn't work.

I'll record the game... I believe the single parts (15 mins each) will be available something like less than 30-40 mins after the end on this 15 mins.

that means 40-55 mins after start you'll have a link of the game.

Hopefully all this system works beacuse the recording system last time was overloaded and last match took some hours to let the file be available, altough normally it works fine.

That's the maximum that I can offer
