BirdmanPresents™Jermaine Oneal The Rebirth(08-09 season mix)

***Looking for a cover for a DVD copy I am going to make that Jermaine Oneal has requested! Show him your graphics work!!***

More info here: viewtopic.php?f=32&t=935362

Not sure if this was OT or not its Raptors related for sure but not exclusively.

This is what I have been working on the past week or so. It is different then my Rap up vids because it is not a highlight mix but more of a story mix. The description is below:

http://raptorsrepublic.com/blog/2009/08 ... ome-tears/
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ugbrEgGTyeU - Make sure to watch in HD

"Following Jermaine Oneal's campaign with the Raptors and the Miami Heat in his comeback year of 2008-2009. The rebirth reflects upon his injuries and hardships with the pacers. As he progresses through the season we see many flashbacks of his glory days and injury days in Indiana. I wish I had more footage in Miami and Toronto but I was very limited and had to improvise as best as I could. "

Also follow me on twitter for all your Raptors videos, updates and I will also look at requests:

Somehow I doubt that you've actually registered that trademark...

Great mix dude. Makes me bummed that it didn't work out, Oneal did bring in some much needed toughness.

Best Mix PERIOD.

I think in the long run JOs short tenure on this team will go under appreciated. But when the rest of the team were holding their heads down, he was giving it all despite his physical limitations. Gotta give him respect for that

The re-birth followed by the re-death.

JO was such a bust here.

Never, ever want him back.

(Good video though.)

I liked JO's toughness and his defensive presence and it's unfortunate things didn't work out here for him.

Also we didn't lose because of JO, it's because of guys like Moon,Kapono and no bench at all. Bosh was always the one taking the 3 in the clutch.

What? BC, Triano, and Bosh all hinted that JO gave up on this team within the first 2 months. He was already complaining about his role 3 games in.

What makes J.O good is his hops. It helps him rebound/shot block like how it would help every other big man. However he is athletic and can score, rebound, and shot block. But the problem is he has bad knees which causes his his vertical to deteriorate. To such an extent he does not rebound well. He was good but i don't think he will ever be anywhere near what he was in Indiana.

my fav JO moment was when he beefed with perkins lol

loved JO's man defence, toughness and shot blocking. Hated his constant ball-hogging, lack of ANY rebounding and the fact that every time he fell over you thought he was going to miss another couple of games.

good luck to him, but the big guy is nearing the end of a great career.

I loved Jermaine's attitude. Taking charges, blocking shots, mouthing off. It was only half a season, but we haven't had many players like that.

The biggest problem with Bosh is that he will never have Jermaine's attitude and approach to the game.
