I agree I don't get why he needs to mention how cold it is. If he played in NYC, and was on the Jim Rome show, there's no doubt in my mind he would NOT mention how cold it is.
Why should he not bring it up? Because it plays into the stereotype and he needs other NBA players to want to play in TO. When asked about the city, he should tell Romey to have his next tour stop in TO during Caribana weekend.
