Ever wonder what it would be like to have Wade?

Post#1 » by theonlyeastcoastrapsfan » Wed Nov 18, 2009 6:16 pm

Have the what if's ever crossed your mind, like they have mine?
Well don't just stand there, do somethign about it.

Go to http://www.nba.com log in and vote our guys and Wade for the Allstar team.

Let's show Wade how signing with us would be like an all star line up, by voting our 4 guys and Wade.

Or just vote for whoever you want. But the last, the absolute last thing you should do, imo, is complain that Bosh, or anyone else you wanted to see start, did not get in, if you're not taking the time to vote yourself.

Peace.

No you don't.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

If you give me a link to where I could vote for you to give Lima an angry pirate, i'd help you out. Now would you take a minute and vote our guys in the All Star Game for me?

I don't understand why voting is done so early. Part of me thinks it's to maintain a very high percentage of the votes goes to the star players rather than giving the voter more time to reflect on those less marketed players who are doing exceedingly well.

The answer is no by the way.
"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'

I'd rather have Paul, he's just as good, but younger and less injury prone.

Still possible IMO. All the raptors have to do is end up with 50 wins and the Heat to struggle getting to 40 wins and miss the playoffs barely.

Bargs plays amazing and Jose does a solid job.

Sign and trade Wade to the max to Toronto for Bargs + Jose + future first.
Resign Amir Johnson. Use MLE to sign post defender. Send Banks + Evans as expirings to get solid wing defender. Resign Wright as backup wing defender. Sign Roko as backup PG at min. Sign greek second rounder as out backup 3. find Euro sweet shooting big man to play limited backup min at 4.

JO/Amir Johnson/Rasho
Bosh/Pops/Euro 3pt Shooter
Hedo/Wing Defender/Greek Guy
Wade/Derozan/Wright
Jack/Roko/trash

We start with 50 millions to Turk + Bosh + Wade
JO + Jack + Amir + Derozan + Wing Defender = 23 million
Roko + Wright + Pops +Rasho + 3pt Shooter + Trash = vet min guys so dont count towards cap.

Final salary about $73 million. Championship time!!!

Screw Dwayne Wade. We need Carmelo Anthony. They always talk about Lebron,Kobe,Wade but not a thing is mentioned about Carmelo.

Paul is not just as good as Wade.

A little OT from the OP's theme, but I do wonder sometimes what a Wade-Carter team would fare. It's like an upgraded version of the Carter-McGrady tandem that should have happened...
#Raptors are 7-1. In 6 of the past 10 seasons, a team that has started a season 7-1 has gone on to win an NBA championship.
