Did Chuck bring out the salami and cheese in the 3rd?

Oddly enough, the Raps never lost after he pulled out the salami and cheese. And no, he didn't pull it out during Kobe's 81 point game.

now that the bullls lost--Chuck issued this on his twitter

That's hilarious. He'll probably be hounded for this for a while.

I watched the entire game, basically Vinny Del Negro doesn't know how to mix and match defensive matchups.

In their game versus LA, Vinny made the mistake of having Hinrich cover Kobe for the majority of his 42 pts (at least more than half of his points came over Hinrich to my recollection). Hinrich is such a small guard, he's good versus Jose types but ineffective vs bigger taller guards, and playing him at SG is as bad as playing Jack at SG.

This game, once again, Vinny opted to play Hinrich at the two guard and have him cover Tyreke, this cost the Bulls dearly in the 4th. Ime Udoka essentially went on fire for 17 some odd points and brought them back in with hot shooting, then Tyreke simply took over in the final 2 minutes with some amazing ball handling skills and a big jumpshot over Deng to beat the 24 second shot clock. Tyreke went to the line 3 times in the final 2 minute stretch because Hinrich couldn't handle him off the dribble or on post ups. Vinny should have had either Deng or Salmons cover him during the final stretch but he stuck to his plan, and this has been his achilles heel throughout his tenure as a Bulls head coach. Can you say fired?

So who do we use to guard Evans when we play SAC?

Weems. He's WAY too big for our point guards to handle, you need a SF or a SG to cover him. I was stating small in comparison to Evans of course.

Tyreke played PG for 3 quarters until the 4th. Westphal countered in the 4th by shifting Tyreke to SG and putting the hot shooting Udrih at PG, it worked.

That is the kind of effort that is the finishing touch on a bad coaching resume.

Sam will coach again before VDN.

ouch..thank god we're not the Bulls

I like our team a lot better than theirs.

On an unrelated note (taking this thread as today's games discussion), it seems as if TJ's been coming off the bench for Indiana in the past two games.

It would be pretty awesome if those of you who "hate seeing Noah" could just be honest enough to admit that you do so because he has big hair, an ugly face, and screams a lot.

Oh right, that one few second thing from many years ago after he'd fulfilled the dream and won a national title. We should definitely hold that against him for the rest of his NBA career.

35pts in the 3rd quarter is a ridiculous choke. I'd love to hear the commentary of the 4th quarter.

Look at the Bulls' post-game thread. Filled with fans saying they're done with the Bulls.

Almost as dramatic as a typical Raptors loss PG-thread.
