From Adrian Wojnarowski's twitter:

Suns waiting on Philly to tell them whether Andre Igoudala will be included with Sam Dalembert for Stoudemire-Barbosa package, sources say.

That is MUCH smarter for the Suns. Iggy and Dal are very good pieces.

I was just listening to Ric Bucher on the fan, and he said the Cavs were just posturing with Amare, because they need a shooting 4, and they are targeting Jamison. The problem is Washington thinks this is their last blue chip trading option, so they are holding out for better deals, so Cle thinks this could push them into dealing quicker.

Having said that, I think this is a lateral deal in that, neither addresses their biggest needs IMO. The Sixers need a PG who can distribute badly.

If anyone can put the sprinkles back on Dalembert's donut, it's Steve Nash.

This would be a good deal for both teams.

Philly gets Amare, and if he bolts, they get some cap space.

Phoenix gets two good pieces to team up with Nash. If Dalembert doesn't work out, he's expiring after next season.

Steve Nash tossing oops to Iggy would look nice.

Iggy and J-Rich seems a bit redundant as well.

I hope BC is extremely cautious on who to add and subtract.

I think we're taking the probable lockout too lightly. We're hearing a hard cap being proposed and ultimately its always the owners who win out. A hard cap will mean a likely salary rollback and equal opportunities for all teams. You'll see the league become more competitive because there will only be so much money for all teams to work with.

Scouting (pro and amateur) and cap management will be keys to success.

If BC is hesitant in making a move in the light of the possible lockout coming, I completely understand.

Actually, it might be a good idea to ask this question and scenario next time on Hoops or Gameplan and request either Armstrong, Smith or Devlin to ask BC about his thoughts on this ...

I was thinking this too. Lebron says he'd rather have Stoudamire, but Cleveland has been convinced since losing to Orlando that they need a stretch 4.

It would be hilarious if this trade went through and then Washington found a better offer, leaving the Cavs empty handed.

The Cavs would still have Troy Murphy as an option.
