Hedo's wife unhappy in Toronto

Scott Carefoot wrote:It's come to my attention that the Hedo Turkoglu signing was based largely on the promise that his wife would enjoy the cultural diversity of her new home. I talked to somebody tonight who knows several contacts of NBA players and who has a solid track record on these things, and his wife is extremely disappointed about her new home and feels she was misled about Turkish community in Toronto.

Hmm, could Hedo's poor play be due to an unstable home?

Dear Hedo's wife,
On behalf of the whole raptors community we also feel like we have been mislead from Hedo's camp, we thought we where going to get a different player instead of this impostor. We are trying to find someone to take your husband off our hands but we can't seem to find any team du.. I mean willing enough to be trade partners. We are tying our best to get your family out of town as quick as possible

Sincerely
Raptors Nation

I wasn't sure how my original thread would be received, and I respect that they don't want to encourage that kind of garbage. Obviously I wasn't getting the info directly from the wife in question so I can't 100% verify its veracity. And it's not typically my M.O. to gossip like that, but I thought it would be a fun experiment to see how that kind of post would be received. I respect the mod's decision to lock the original thread and let's leave it at that.

Go ahead and orchestrate a trade out of Toronto.

 at the thought of Raptors getting rid of that contract.

I hate this woman. If it wasn't for this woman, Turk would be Portland's problem.

This is the kind of post that makes it easy to lock those threads. Stop making it personal and discuss the matter at hand.

You call the source a douche, then create a new topic and quote him. On top of that "discuss" means that YOU as the OP should probably give your own insight too.

Anyway, I hope this isn't another Jackie Christie on our hands. I hope this is overblown. If Banu isn't happy in Toronto, I doubt she will be happy in most NBA cities including all the ones that Hedo has played for in his career.

If this woman actually liked the city, she would be up front and be truthful about it.. I don't think there is any chance she would be lying if she really dislikes the city.

off topic: is it just me or do the raptors have the most irregular schedule of all teams in the NBA. IN the beginning they were playing a lot of games and now they have huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugeeee gaps between games....weird
