If I had to choose a first round opponent it would be New Orleans. I'd really enjoy the face off of Deron vs. Paul.
Not saying that this would be the easiest matchup, I'm just saying I'd love to see this one.

"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

I think the Jazz match up very well against New Orleans, on paper at least. We have yet to play them this year, so its tough to say.
Deron vs Paul is a push.
AK > Peja
Brew v Petersen is a push
Booz > West
Okur v Chandler - who knows? each guys strength is the other's weakness.
Jazz Bench >>> NO Bench

NO would be ideal, they are the best match up for the Jazz, plus their inexperience would be fun to play against. I would love to see Paul v. Williams on the national scene.
For that to happen however either the Spurs are going to have to start playing better or the Hornets would have to start playing a lot worse and fall to the 4 or 5 spot.

The Hornets would probably be the best matchup we could hope for, but I'd feel pretty comfortable playing the Suns or Mavericks as well. I'm actually more scared of the Lakers and Nuggets, if they're both at full health; they've given us some problems this year. As for the Spurs, they may not be doing well now, but come playoff time, I think they're still the team to beat and I definitely wouldn't want to play them in the first round.
