Well this is refreshing. It is still early in the game, but it looks like the competitive Jazz are back!

Great win!! Love seeing Dunn closing out the game. Hardy knows hes the best pg option if we want wins. He was off tonight offensively, but his poise and defense is what this team needs

Even with this subpar scoring, he has second best +/- after Markkanen. And LM is 35/12/3 against one of supposed contenders with its both big stars.

How long before Markkanen is not the guy who can compete against the big names, but is one of the big names himself?

Kris Dunn is the #1 point guard in this team. The thing is, he should be #2.
From the basketball's perspective, travel is a nice pause from being pounded to the floor.

Nice win and an important one coz it will help settle some nerves. Still a lot of work to do however as this could easily have gone the other way…

That was a fun game. Jazz looked much better. We got lucky in the end with the Clippers missing some shots and the Jazz making some crazy shots. I thought THT and Sexton were pretty good. Obviously, Markkanen was a beast. Kessler was off the court in the final minutes and only played 21 minutes. The Jazz need to find a way to involve him more.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Post game interview with Hardy:
https://www.nba.com/watch/video/uta-120-lac-118-jazz-coach-will-hardys-postgame-media-availability?plsrc=nba&game-highlights=0022300085

Opening remarks:
- Hardy lauded Markk and Collins for their offensive boards. Said we have size on the font line and we are looking to exploit that size advantage. Expect the Jazz to continue to crash the boards.
- He praised THT for his 8 assists, playmaking and good reads. He said THT is young and is working very hard to get better.

Some responses to questions:
- On Olynyk: Olynyk was in the game late for his offensive execution. Said Olynyk was in a good rhythm.
- On Dunn: "Obviously we pivoted to Kris with about 4 minutes left because he had done such a good job defensively on Paul George. We were down three and we needed some stops."
- On JC and his stop on Kawhi: He's made a commitment to become more of a playmaker and defender. "The last three minutes of this game is all you need to see. All players are capable of growth."
- On lineups: "Lineups continue to be a work in progress. All bets are off in the second half of games." The coaching staff is collectively trying to figure out what lineups will work in second halfs of each game, so we will see a lot of different lineups in second halfs.

I can't remember Donovan Mitchell ever having a more impressive last minute finish than what Jordan Clarkson just had: The winning three point basket with 28 seconds to go followed by a defensive stop on Kawhi Leonard. That was a big time finish!

You know, as much as I loved Mitchell, I never thought he was very good in the clutch.

Sorry I missed this game. Naturally it's a banger when I can't watch.

Bringing in Collins was always going to be tough on Kessler…And the 2nd year is already more difficult as it is.
