No injuries on either team. Games against the Pelicans usually end up close and entertaining so this should be a good one.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Let's hope for a win. A loss would be depressing... but NOP is a good team, for sure.

Let's gonna gain some momentum before the trip for the east coast.

Ochai Agbaji being a lottery pick is one of those things where you immediately understand it (he has superhero athleticism and there was a hope he could shoot in the NBA) but also can't believe it because he's so bad at basketball.

1.1 FTA per 100 possessions is not even close to an NBA player. He's a pure spot up shooter who can't shoot.

1. Disappointing performance. The only notables were Kessler, Fontecchio and Sexton, the latter in particular was very good. The rest played between meh and bad.

2. Markkanen didn't have it going on this game. He should take notes from Olynyk, who manages to get all the way to the basket even though he's doing it slowly and finish with layups. Markkanen often tries to jump over everyone and it causes his shots to be tougher than they should.

3. After a certain amount of time, Hardy should have went with Kessler over Collins in this game. It was clear our paint was wide open and we couldn't stop anyone from scoring. Kessler made a big difference when he played.

4. I didn't like what THT was doing in the 4th. I get that he didn't get to play in a while but he was mostly looking for his own shot, playing out of control and trying to put up as many shots as possible instead of running the offense. George doesn't get a pass either--in the 4th it was mostly him and THT doing whatever and none of the other guy touching the ball unless they had to bail them out. And that 'steal' from Avarado at the end was uncalled for.

Ugly loss... They were shooting like crazy. In nights like that you can't do too much... and then you give up.

I think all the trade deadline rumors have started to effect the team's play.

Most of the rumors of late have been of the Jazz no longer being sellers, so I doubt that’s as big of an issues as it was last year.

To me this just feels like regression to the mean.

The Jazz don't do well on the road 7-17, and they don't do well against teams with winning records 10-20. They are a mid level team that plays well at home. Their best wins during their streak was Sixers at home minus Embiid, Bucks at home, and their best really all-season was the Nuggets at Denver.
