Our assistant coach was making the decisions that game, as Nate was in Carolina for a funeral.
I have tickets to this game, and I'm expecting it to be very close throughout.
Without AK 47 and if Roy doesn't get in early foul trouble like last time, plus with it being at home, Portland by 3.
I think you guys are going to go on a winning streak here sometime soon. You deffinetly have more talent than a team only 2 games above .500

Im predicting Jazz by 7!
Just out of interest, why should the Jazz necessarily win this game? I'm thinking it's going to be a close game all the way through and exectution at the end will be the deciding factor. Brandon Roy is a game time decision so it makes a Jazz win much more possible (if Roy can't play that is) but I think either way, it'll be a close one all night long and either team could sneak away with a victory.

I'm fine with that too, as long as Korver logs more minutes than CJ. Unless CJ in hitting everything, I think Korver is always the better option, minutes-wise. Bringing him in with the reserve squad is a great way to keep some scoring punch in there, while the starters are resting.jazzed77 wrote:Jazz in a close one....I'm all for CJ starting and Korver coming off the bench......
I am starting to think that Korver will play the Manu Ginobli role for us. Coming off the bench, but playing starter and crunchtime minutes.
I predict that the Jazz struggle early, but end up winning.
Jazz will be 3-0 in the Korver era.

Should be a close game. I think normally, under the circumstances, that Portland would win this game; but i think the Jazz are beginning to find themselves....so we'll see.
I predict that if the Jazz win this game, they are really going to start winning games thereafter.
So i'm going to be a homer:
Jazz by 10

I still haven't gotten any confidence back in this team sorry to say. Good win against Portland on the 31st but barely held off a pretty bad Sixers team at home. I'll go waaaaay out on a limb and predict a close game through three quarters and a dismal defensive effort in the fourth quarter leading to a 6 point loss. Hope I'm wrong.

Any?
The games they did lose they just couldn't close out.
The team has been playing better since Kyle arrived IMHO, Philly isn't all that bad they actually held their own with the blazers during their streak but stunk it up in the 4th. Like I said Roy is the main question mark in this game.

AK's absence will be huge for Utah, as would be Roy's for Portland. If Roy is out there's almost no way Portland wins, though Utah could pull it out with no AK - Portland in a squeaker if Roy plays.
It's a big game in terms of tie-breaking, but with both teams a little beat up and the Jazz not fully gelled with Korver (though does it really take that long for a player like him?) I'm not sure how important it can be in determined future outcomes other than a tie-breaker.
