Why recall Almond?

Post#1 » by HolyToledo » Tue Jan 8, 2008 9:04 pm

What is the purpose in recalling Almond? He is better off with playing time with the Flash. He will likely not even dress tonight. I wish the Jazz would trade away some of excess SGs for a defensive center and a backup PG.

SG/SF Ak-47 Brewer Miles Harping Millsap Almond Price Korver

8 players and you recall Almond just to demote him after one or two games. Talk about putting a kid on a yo-yo string.

Because we don't have enough shooting guards on the team. We need more. I figure if the Jazz can maybe package Okur and AK in a trade we can get a couple more shooting guards for our playoff push.

Well you see...AK and Price arent playing tonight and being as we are already playing with 11 we might as well have 11 then 10. Plus the flash dont play till Friday and hopefully Price and AK feel better and Almond will be back in time for the game on Friday. You always freak out 10 mins to early, why dont you wait for the wiretap and or newspaper to report why he got recalled.

Price and AK out, thats why. He STILL practices with the jazz when they are in town, and goes to the home games if he isn't traveling with the flash. Whats the big freaking deal? They made it easy to bring players up from the Dleague for this very reason.

Nice use of all caps, it really made me see how serious you are.

Listen HT, he is already up here working out at the prac. Facility with the Jazz and he probably wont miss a game in the dleague unless both AK and Price are gonna miss the game on Saturday, so why not bring him up for the next 2 games? What is he going to get out of a dleague shoot around? Seriously man stop being angry and think for a second.

Toledo do you know anything about the NBA? For real bro! Okay it starts off with this round orange thing they call a basketball. You have 5 guys playing on each team with different color jerseys. It's usually played on a hardwood floor and there is 2 baskets that have hoops, bigger than the basketball in circumference, that the 10 guys try to put the basketball through and it is 10 feet tall. Lets start at the basics... Maybe with a bit of study and hard work you can get to the point that more than half your posts have any substance to them.

It reminds me when Fisher was out, and then Williams got in foul trouble, and Brown got munched by Okur.... Unforseen situation might come through.

It is really quite simple, somebody has got to keep the end of the bench above room temp.

Plus he might actually get to play a few min.

14 players on the team, 2 injured, 12 healthy players active game night. Give me a minute, I'll figure it out.

First points scored announcer - "Milsap 2!"

Postgame I got a feeling that Almond wasn't too happy about his situation with the jazz. Sure he didn't envision his rookie season like this. I hope we give him more opportunities this season
