Darko + Jerry Sloan = No production

That's not a knock on Jerry, I just don't see Darko as a Sloan-type guy.

According to David Locke the Knicks are split on taking either DeRozan or Jennings, both very good news for the Jazz. Neither of these guys are NBA ready, both are high potential picks as of right now, and probably won't get any real playing time next season. Both are picks to team with LeBron if he signs there in the future.

I would love for them to draft Tyreke Evans. I think that dude is a huge bust waiting to happen. I also think that Jennings, DeRozan and Holiday will also be disappointments/busts as top 10 selections. Any of those guys would be nice, as--even if they become good players--it certainly won't be next year.

I don't care if the guy is an MVP as a sophomore, he just needs to suck for 1 year.

Jennings would fit perfect with them, from his recent Rubio comments, he seems like he still has a lot of maturing to do.

Rumor is Rubio to the Knicks.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

I hope they trade Hill for a higher potential player who is going to have even less impact on the floor then Hill. Hill is strong enough and big enough to help them defensively.

Hill gives them much needed size. But... If they lose Lee it's a wash. At best.

I think he is as big of an impact player as Wilson Chandler. Again, I only want the Knicks to suck for a year. I'm not wishing for a bust, I just don't want a ROY candidate.

What do you think about Darko trade? I think it would benefit NYK... sadly...

I think it will too, but not necessarily next year. Things are still going our way.

I don't, it means more time for their young guys.

I don't think very highly of Hill. Good pick for the Knicks if you're a Jazz fan.

So far NY hasn't done anything to improve themselves. Hill is solid but I have major doubts about him. Darko I don't think will do anything for them that will make a big difference. So far so good.

I think Hill is going to develop into a great NBA contributor and will definitely fill in Lee's shoes if he leaves. Quentin for Darko is a wash for this season imo

Last year we had no size what so ever, now at least we have Hill and Darko. Are they going to be amazing? No, but at least they bring contesting of shots and blocks. Lee couldn't protect anything at all last year, at least with both Hill and Darko our perimeter defender at least know someone is back there. Plus getting rid of Q was an addition by subtraction, he was taking up minutes and is now just a terrible player. Darko motivating factor is that he is playing for a contract, most of our team is. Whether that has a positive effect remains to be seen.

Also the most important thing to watch for the Knicks is Gallo. If he is healthy, he will impact this team. When he is in the game, he changes the way we play. We play with cohesion, we were 500% when he played last year.

Either way, it should be interesting to see how things play out.

Hill will most likely because a good player if not great player in the league but I have a hard time believing that a rookie will be able to be a great defender his first year.
