1975: #7 Pick - Rich Kelley: C, Standford
In Kelley's best season with the Jazz he averaged 16 ppg and 12 rpg, notable picks after Kelley in the first round is the father of one of the biggest douchers in NBA History, Joe "Jellybean" Bryant.
1976: No Picks - Notable late first rounders, Mitch Kupchak.
1977: No Picks - Notable late first rounders, Norm Nixon.
1978: #11 Pick - James Hardy: F/C, University of San Francisco
In Hardy's 4 seasons with the Jazz he sucked averaging 5/5. Notabable picks after Hardy, Mike Mitchell.
1979: #20 Pick - Larry Knight - Loyola U of ChicagoNever played a game in the NBA. Notable picks after, Sly Williams.
1980: #2 Pick - Darrell Griffith: G, Univesity of Lousiville
#19 Pick - John Duren: G, Georgetown University
Griffith is the only Jazz player to win Rookie of the Year, and had a very good NBA career. John Duren was crappy in his 3 NBA seasons. Notable later first rounders, Wes Matthews aka Papa Wes.
1981: #13 Pick - Danny Schayes: C, University of Syracuse
Traded to the Denver Nuggets after one season to reacquire earlier draft pick Rich Kelley. Notable later first rounders, Herb Williams and Larry Nance.
1982: #3 Pick - Dominique Wilkins: F, University of Georgia
Saved the franchise by trading him, still sucks to think we missed out on him though. Other first rounders, Clark Kellogg, and Fat Lever.
1983: #7 - Thurl Bailey: F, NC State
One of the better Jazz players, and now he's a hanger on with the organization. Other notable first rounders, Clyde Drexler.
1984: #16 Pick - John Stockton: G, Gonzaga University
Easily the Jazz best draft pick ever. So awesome. Notable later picks, nobody is even close.
1985: #13 Pick - Karl Malone: F, Louisiana Tech University
The best player in Jazz history, and one of the greatest PF's of all time. Has any team ever had a better back to back draft than Stockton and Malone? Notable later picks, Joe Dumars.
1986: #15 Pick - Dell Curry: G, VPISU
One of the best shooters in NBA history, his son there turned out alright also. Notable later picks, Arvydas Sabonis.
1987: #15 Pick - Jose Ortiz: F, Oregon State
Never did jack. Notable later players, Reggie Lewis.
1988: #17 - Pick Eric Leckner: F, University of Wyoming
Another sucky ass suck. Notable later pick, Rod Strickland.
1989: #21 Pick - Blue Edwards: F, East Carolina University
Solid player, my favorite when I first started watching the Jazz, but was traded away early. Notable later picks, Vlade Divac.
1990: No Pick - Notable later first rounder, Elden Campbell.
1991: #21 Pick - Eric Murdock: G, Providence
The first hopeful back up to Stockton that never really panned out in Utah. Left after one season and had a good career. Notable later pick, Rick Fox.
1992: No Picks - Notable late first rounders, Latrell Spreewell.
1993: #18 Pick - Luther Wright: C, Seton Hall University
Giant crazy guy. Was arrested smashing in cars and throwing garbage cans around. Had a quicker fall than another guy who will be on this list. Notable later picks, Sam Cassell.
1994: No Draft Picks - Notable later picks, Wesley Person.
1995: #28 Pick - Greg Ostertag: C, Kansas
Easily the most polarizing Jazz player I can remember. Some games he was great, some games he was terrible, but the Jazz played their best seasons with him manning the paint. No notable later picks.
1996: #25 Pick - Martin Muursepp: F, EstoniaNever played for the Jazz. Notable later picks, Gerome Williams.
1997: #27 - Jacque Vaughn: G, Kansas 
Second guy drafted to be Stock's back up, was a solid NBA role player. Didn't stick with Jazz. No notable later picks.
1998: #29 Pick - Nazr Mohammed: C, KentuckyNever played for Jazz, but we should have kept him. He turned out to be a solid C for quite a few years. No later picks.
1999: #19 - Quincy Lewis: G, University of Minnesota
#24 - Andrei Kirilenko: F, Russia
#28 - Scott Padgett: F, Kentucky
This was a pretty good draft for the Jazz. Lewis never panned out, Padgett was a good hustle player, and AK is probably a top 10 Jazz player of all time. Notable later picks, Jumaine Jones.
2000: #23 Pick - Deshawn Stevenson: G, Washington Union in Fresno
RMR superstar, dumbass on the floor. I always rooted for him, and he always let me down. Notable later picks, Primoz Brezec.
2001: #24 Pick - Raul Lopez: G, Spain
One of my favorite players of all time. Injuries derailed his career but he could have been a good NBA point guard. Always have to question passing on the next four guys chosen after him. Notable later picks, Gerald Wallace, Jamaal Tinsley, Samuel Dalembert, Tony Parker.
2002: #19 Pick - Ryan Humphrey: F, Notre DameNever played for the Jazz, notable later picks, Tayshaun Prince.
2003: #19 Pick - Sasha Pavlovic: F, Montenegro
The Jazz got a lot of flack for leaving him open for the taking in the expansion draft, but he sucks so no real harm done. Notable later picks, Leandro Barbosa.
2004: #14 Pick - Kris Humphries: F, University of Minnesota
#16 Pick - Kirk Snyder: F, University of Nevada
#21 Pick - Pavel Podkolzin: C, Russia

When the highlight of this draft is the laugh we all got out of drafting Pavel, who never played for the Jazz, you know we blew it big time. Probably the worst draft of all time, especially when you see who we passed on. Notable later picks, Al Jefferson, Josh Smith, Kevin Martin.
2005: #3 Pick - Deron Williams: G, Illinois University
After the worst draft in Jazz history, KOC does very well in trading up for a top 5 player in Jazz history. Notable later picks, Chris Paul, Danny Granger.
2006: #14 Pick - Ronnie Brewer: F, University of Arkansas
A fun player to watch who never could develop an offensive game which led to his departure in Utah. Notable later picks, Rajon Rondo.
2007: #25 Pick - Morris Almond: G, Rice University
Not really sure why he never could get it together for the Jazz. He looked like a very solid pick, but never could pick up the game. Notable later picks, Aaron Brooks.
2008: #23 - Kosta Koufos: F, Ohio State
The jury is still out completely for me. Showed good things in his rookie year, didn't do anything as a sophmore. I hope he can pan out, but who knows. Notable later picks, Nicolas Batum.
2009: #20 - Eric Maynor: G, VCU
I think everyone was excited about this pick, only to trade him half way through the season. We saved money, but he'll be a good NBA player. Notable later picks, Darren Collison.
