If I suggest trading a player it's because I think the team would benefit buy having someone else at his position. Is there no one else that can do Dort's (or any other player's) job better? If so, it's worth discusssing. Right now the pool of players worth trading Dort for continues to shrink. Good for him and us. It doesn't always work that way.

Chemistry is not something you can trade for or manufacture.

There might be someone who can do what LuDo does on a cheaper contract but that player may be locker room cancer.

Swap out Muscala and Biyombo for a healthy Steven Adams next season and Prestis got the dynasty he whiffed on with Russ, DuRat, Pubeface, Ibaka and Perk.

PJ Washington fits so well in Dallas and I think it would have been the same in OKC. I'm still pissed we didn't beat that 3year/48 millions extension. This is peanuts in today's NBA.

Gonna be OKC only and most deserved award. Shai winning MVP wouldn't be a steal but Jokic deserves it too so i'm fine if he finishes second (he should be ahead of Doncic but it's gonna be close because of fandom/Luka on fire late in the season)

Donovan was a very different coach in college. In OKC he let the star players dictate how the team played. In college he designed the offense, coached and disciplined poor play. He might have been a decent hire for a rebuild, but he just let Russ push his selfish bad habits even more. It is why OKC appeared to be a much better coached team when CP3 was basically coaching the team instead of Russ/PG13.

Wouldn't mind facing the Clippers if Kawhi is still banged up. Dort on Harden and JDub/Shai on PG13 sounds like pretty good to me.

I think OKC is in a pretty great position for the next round.

Kawhi’s knee is clearly bothering him and considering his previous knee surgeries and ongoing inflammation for several weeks, I’m pretty sure he wont be able to play. I think there’s just no way that Clippers could consistently beat a healthy OKC squad (Dort is notorious for playing great vs Harden), they also don’t have defensive stoppers for our guards.

With Mavs, Doncic’s knee is pretty banged up. You can see he can barely run and is limping at times. Knees just dont heal up quickly and there is no way he can be even close to his best in the next round. This is a golden opportunity for OKC to take advantage of. Moreover, Minnesota and Nuggets might go 7 games and who knows how healthy the winner is going to be.

Wishing for injuries? You remember the fluke injury Westbrook had against Houston in the first round in 2013? Let's not wish for injuries when we know from experience that any Thunder player can go down on a fluke play at any time. One can argue that team was headed for a championship and was the best OKC team Presti ever put together. It all fell apart with one knee bump.

I’m not wishing any injuries, but a 7 game series makes for a highly competitive game every second day. The amount of stress body endures makes is more susceptible to injury. Even if there are no significant injuries, teams are gonna be tired with no fresh legs for defense/offense and shooting.

Defense is great but our offense...smh

Feels like Shai is a bit hurt so I hope we can close this series tonight

OKC looked every bit the part of one of the youngest most inexperienced teams in the league last night. Didn't look anything close to a #1 seed. Which is totally understandable.

Great win last night, let's be happy for any and all wins this team gets in the post season. Each one is a building block for future runs. Then again, each loss is a building block as well.

Like I said, just be happy if they get out of the first round. Anything beyond that is gravy.

The drastically superior team won in a sweep. This was as surprising as the sun rising in the East. Denver and Boston must need more playoff experience before they are ready, right?
