I wish MJ could stay a bit longer in Charlotte so we could get PJ Washington in a S & T for Bertans and pick(s)

Have Masai and Presti ever made a trade? Maybe a small one, i dont know. Unstoppable force meets immovable object.

Bertans basically takes us out of the Brolo sweepstakes. Not too many FAs on the board I'm all that interested in. Wouldn't mind bringing Saric back or Cody Zeller

I think we will trade his rights for a second.

And that’s the best trade we will do. No more when will he come over. I don’t think he want play for us anyway .

To sign and trade micic to Denver, or any competing over the cap team, we’d need to take back a player. To put a dent in our cap space of 6-8 million, we’d sure as heck need better than a 2nd.

Micic is a big trade piece. He was Euroleague MVP and he has a wealth of pro experience now. This isn’t Facundo Campazzo.

I wouldn't hold the guy hostage, but I'd want some value in return. I'm not helping out a competitor without some real compensation.

Okc has at least 6 second round picks over the next 3 years. At least 11 over the next 5 years. At least 15 over the next 6 years. They don’t need anymore second round picks even if they’ve increased in value a little bit with the last CBA.

Re: All Things Thunder Offseason Thread
Doubt a team is willing to give up significant value for a guy that never played in the NBA before and who's almost 30 years old (even if he's very good).
Just hope he might be added in a package for something good but we are not getting more than a couple of 2nds value wise for him.

He will probably trade him for 2nd round pick.
I see Dallas, Denver and Miami as possible destinations.

I think presti isn’t excited because there isn’t any way to get value out of micic. Micic is older and unproven. His value is likely a second rounder and we have a billion second rounders and 700 guards. Micic at 6-8 million could have been a boon if we’d balanced the roster by drafting a big and traded Dort for a big.

Re: All Things Thunder Offseason Thread
Not looking good from Presti's vid up there that Micic arrives in NBA for OKC. There's gotta be a gap at what Micic wants and OKC is offering, otherwise he'd be here.
I have to think... OKC wants Micic to come over on "MLE" money, so something like 4/40 (PO-yr4). OKC wants Micic to be a part of their growing process and accept a complementary role as the team builds. That's the logical take, because they could be better as a team with him on the roster. He hasn't been training with the guys, they don't know locker room fit. It's a conservative approach to integration. They want cap manipulation and not blast it on an unproven NBA'er. If he's not up to NBA level, a big payday de-rails the OKC future or forces a bad trade to get rid of the contract.
OKC wants to get AT LEAST 1 FRP out of Micic if traded to a team. Other teams probably aren't thrilled with that either.
Meanwhile, Micic is likely demanding a lot more than what OKC's approach is. I would guess Micic wants 'make me an offer I cannot refuse', something in the ball park of 3/60 +, because he's such a good player. Micic probably also wants to be guaranteed starting role. Micic doesn't need to leave Europe to be paid well and he is already a proven professional so he doesn't need to accept OKC's development terms.

Yeap I’m with you on micic value .
For all his accolades he’s still not nba proven and he’s already very close to 30.
If we can get a single second I would move along . Multiple seconds I consider it a huge win.
If we scrape a protected first, I would be ecstatic.
