I'm sure a trade will come in the next days (weeks). Now there is no need in Micic ; Tre Mann ; L.Waters ? If Saric signs for Vet.min. I would keep him as big who can shoot threes. Or the trade will be for a PF.

I said all along that we didn’t need to get a star with our pick, just not draft a bust. Wallace seems like he fits that description. My only real knock on him is his height but he does have a great wingspan. With Hendricks gone at nine, i dont know who I wanted. The back injury is a bit concerning. Taking on Bertans salary makes some sense. I’m ready to see him play.

I expect to make us a small move now to improve a bit our frontcourt...also feels like it makes no sense at all to add Micic to our squad but maybe I'm wrong.

Presti is either overrating our roster depth, wants to see how it goes with Chet or think about improving via trades/FA...could be a bit of the 3 :)

In a vacuum, I like the idea of drafting someone who can contribute without the ball in his hands. I feel like that's what we need given our current roster construction and the dudes we already have.

He had back spasms during a game this season. Doesn't sound terrible.

easy to root for the kid. Don't get drafting another guard but at least he's solid from 3.

Ben hated the JDub pick but loved Cason for Wallace...thought he was BPA at 10. Not a draft scouting pro but still worth listening.

I'm only worried about his size tbh but that's probably why he felt to 10...still very young and wasn't that trash from deep in college.

There were some rumors about his medicals not being great. The more I try to read about it, the more it seems meaningless.

We obviously drafted one of the 2-3 players in the top 20 that I didn't watch any videos before the draft (happened the same with JDub). Not gonna lose time before next year's draft except if we get a top 5 pick.

hope so. I'm only pissed about his post draft interview at this point

I know he's young but I want smart and committed kids in OKC...that's what Presti is trying to build (and succeeding so far)

I turned the draft off when San Antonio drafted Leonard Miller.

edit: didn’t see he was traded to the Wolves.

I love Amen but the Rockets fans overreaction from the draft is comical. Wish that 2024 FRP was unprotected.

The whole NBA draft is such a missed opportunity. ESPN doesn't have the right people. WOJ is a disaster. Silver announces trades like ten minutes after we know what happens.

even the draft experts like Givony are doing a terrible job on draft day and the week prior to the draft...probably for buzz/marketing they are spreading terrible informations. They are good at evaluating talent but they should stick to it.

It was still a very weird draft night with so little trades. Some teams have major moves to make and get rid of bad contracts or even young players. Gonna be a bit more difficult for us to take advantage of it now with Bertans but we still have some money left.

We will never know if Bilal would be a Thunder if Dawkins didn't join the Wizards. Just hope he doesn't become a star now.

Will be interesting seeing this team getting in passing lanes and running.
