Euro hasn't been the same since Greece won.
First the federal government borrowed money; then gave the money to Bank of America; then I borrowed some of that money from Bank of America and gave it to the federal government; then the federal government gave the money back to Bank of America.

lol at the greece comment, but it's Euro. The olympics are fun but I don't care about most of the events and for soccer they are the under23(plus 3) teams, not full strength

Euro Cup but I will check out the Olympics because a lot of up and coming stars will play for their country. Does anyone have a list of teams that's in the Olympics?

second you mix politics with sports, sports lose its charm. Olympics is about anything but sports nowadays.

WTF? Winning the 100 yard dash still makes you the fastest man on Earth.

Swimming, wrestling, gymnastics...

Anyone could probably win the 100 yard dash with steroids and, let's say, 2 months training.

if they could all they need to do is to attend one of the gazillion IAAF grand prix s during the year and beat the previous 100-yard dash record.

they dont need olympics.
