Embarassing performance down the stretch by the Canadians and we'll be in tough against the Russians (assuming we beat Germany). Not good enough, Ryan Miller was fantastic.

Canada and US final for hockey gold (both womens and mens) would be epic I think. At least for the sport. Would be the only time i watch a full game of hockey.

Canada with 12 Golds, if Kevin Martin can pull one out right now, 13.

The hockey game tomorrow to determine whether or not Canada breaks the record.

As if the game had to be even bigger.

Is it just me or were there more attractive women in these games than usual? Every event seems to have attractive women standing on the podium. I called home this weekend and was speaking with my sister about it and she mentioned my father saying the same thing. Is this the result of the sexualization of the games or just happenstance? I know I've read several articles about the cougarness of the Canadian curling skip (Cheryl Bernard). Lindsey Vonn's sports illustrated pictorial was certainly discussed. Maybe there's just been more media focus on the "hotties" this year.
