Get a Canadian or British VPN and watch everything you want on CBC or BBC

It sounds like the Rockets sole Olympic rep did well in the earlier game for Brazil (Nene).

I didn't get to watch any games the past couple of days. I'm hoping I can catch a couple of them today.

The offence is so much better with Lowry on the floor instead of Kyrie. My god

A poster from the French...are you kidding me?

Wow, that was a pretty ridiculous alley from Kyrie. I couldn't make that pass if it was choreographed.

I am honestly dumbfounded. I like close games, but what is going on with these guys!? I thought it was just one bad game...then two. They are getting progressively worse and more anxious on both ends! France is a less organized team than Serbia and Australia, and they are playing without Tony Parker!

This is a bad defensive team. Hope it doesn't cost us.

Jeez, three straight bad games. We'll be lucky to medal at all at this point.

Well, at least the women are taking care of business.

Sorry I didn't get a new game thread started, everyone. Been dealing with a bit of an emergency since early this morning.

I wonder what kind of positive bs coach K will come up after this game. What a disaster of a team. I think a couple players on the women's team could be more effective than Durant

Good defense is largely based on cohesion and teamwork, and those aren't easy things to develop on teams like this where you have so little practice time.

That's compounded when said defense includes mediocre individual defenders like Kyrie, Carmelo and Cousins. Durant can be good but he's not exactly Scottie Pippen -- especially when he puts in as little effort as he did today. Klay is generally good and at least tries hard, and even he got torched repeatedly. The starting unit was/is just a big negative on that end.

A lot of it comes down to basic effort, too. George is one of our few legitimately great defenders, and he pulled a Harden and got backdoored for a layup. You could probably come up with 10 comparable examples. Just frustrating. As bad as the fourth quarter was, our overall offensive performance was more than good enough to win. But giving up 97 points -- that's absolutely inexcusable.

At this point I don't even care if the U.S. doesn't win gold. This is a very unlikable U.S. squad.

I was unable to watch the game, it looks like Heurtl had a really solid game and stepped up in TP's absence. Since the margin was so low, I would ask those who saw it, if TP was playing, do you think France would have taken that game? Also, from a homer aspect, how did Lauverne look?

Is Equestrian really a bigger ratings grab than men's basketball? I know there's a lot less commercials than an NBA game, but NBC aired Equestrian instead and had the game aired on NBC Sports. There were also 4 Americans in the Mixed Doubles Tennis Finals, including Venus Williams, and they relegated that to Bravo.

The starting lineup is just a terrible fit and that's on coach k. Kyrie only knows how to play when looking to score. Durant is an ISO guy, melo an ISO guy, cousins an ISO guy.

Starters should be
Lowry
Klay
Durant
Green
Cousins

Kyrie
Butler
George
Melo
Jordan
