Damn. Feels bad with the last 2 points coming from a pretty average call at the death. But Pau was a monster, Bogut fouled out early and Australia needed to get a shot off in that last play. Too much went wrong that was in the Boomers' control to feel cheated.

Australia was screwed. Great effort from them but Spain got some soft calls their way in the last minute.

I feel plenty of anger towards that refs call right now but just hope the boomers have enough class to let it go and lose with dignity and give Spain the credit they deserve.

Nah, Delly should seek revenge in the NBA. Spain never showed class, they don't deserve any credit.

Refs had been helping the aussies the whole game allowing them to do as they pleased on defense.

And it WAS a foul on Sergio.

No room for complaining.

The refs have been pretty bad on both sides, and I agree that was a foul. I feel for the Australians as the did a great tournament, but I root for my team and I'm quite happy saying good bye to Pau, Reyes and Navarro with a bronze medal.

anyway Australia will do great things in the next few years.
As long as Usa dont Steal more Kyries.

SPain is out of the picture for quite a while, this was Calderons, Navarros, Reyes,s and Paus Last International Game.

Theres not enough quality to mantain medal level.

Suspect those refs are paid per tech foul or questionable call. It would have been nice if the game was decided by the players in such a way that the winner was undoubtedly truly most deserving. The refereeing in these Olympics has been poor, with an incredible amount of tech fouls, but this was some of the most astonishing refereeing that I can recall in FIBA games.

It is a shame that Spain will retire so many players because this kind of game is sure to ignite an instant classic rivalry between Spain and Australia.

Aussies lost on a Sergio flop smh. Plays like this are why people can't stand some refs. Shoulda been the Aussies first bball medal.
Bogut gonna take that bad taste in his mouth on the Western Conf. Mavs gonna love Bogut, he might be top 2 rim protector in the game.
