Starting Lineup for TeamUSA in Rio?

Post#1 » by Little Digger » Mon Jul 18, 2016 12:04 am

I'm going with

Jordan (probably will get the least amount of minutes amongst the starters)
Durant
George
Thompson
Irving

With Green, Anthony , Lowry, Butler and Cousins seeing consistant mintues off the bench..

DeRozan
Barnes (how the hell did he make the team lolz)

Carmelo is 100% getting the start. George or Thompson will come off the bench.

Anthony starting over Paul George would be a travesty..IMO George is the best player on the team with KD right behind as #2..

4 years ago? lolz..This is 2016. Maybe Anthony starts over Klay but PG should defintely be a starter.

I'm not sure what you're looking for here...do you want everyone to just agree with you and end the thread? What's the point of asking people's opinions if you're gunna just say "no, I'm right"?

Kyrie
Klay
KD
Melo
Cousins

What a filthy lineup jesus. I hope cousins gets the nod over DJ because he is just so much better offensively and defensively adequate enough to be a stalwart.

I definitely would start Cousins over Jordan. Bring Jordan off the bench. I like the above lineup. No Harden on the team?

I'm a huge Cousins fan but I like him coming off the bench.

There's so much offensive talent in the starting lineup.

Plus it is similar to when wade did it in 08. Wade was one of the best players for that team. Boogie did great off the bench in the World Cup. One of our best players then too

I would go with

Kyrie
Klay
KD
George
Cousins

I know Melo is great in international play but I dont think that will be the case this year. I can see the argument for Jordan starting over Cousins because they dont need Cousins scoring. But damn those 5 would just be filthy on offense
