BBC coverage is so hilariously bad. You have two guys that probably never watch basketball trying to do play by play. They don't understand fouls, travels, delays of game, or even court nomenclature. They call the court a pitch half the time!

England and the whole UK is probably the country with less basketball in Europe

It is but this is where I live now and it's my only way to watch the Olympic basketball in HD. I can stream the delirious Marv Albert on NBC but the quality is poor.

US came with a lot more intensity than the last game they played, Serbia just looks demoralized. This is more like the 2014 FIBA World Cup Finals.

US were allowed to foul without call for a short period and then Radulica went to the bench, game over, they are too thin, but anyway Balkan people are just not that diciplined always against adversity, this has been their big weakness in many sports. Too bad because at their best, they are at another level than the rest of Europe. I think both Spain and Australia would have done better in this finals.

For all your talk about the 90s being more physical, you now say we were allowed to defend without fouling? That's pure comedy.

There are rules for physicality. US players are allowed to slap and lean into players. That was never legal.

They used to have Jon Amechi (the gay retired NBA player) call the games and he was really good because he actually played in the NBA.

Outside of KD... he has been the best player.

He was awesome today, double-double in the first half. He's incredibly skilled for his size and a load on the boards. But two things I'd be constantly worried about him if he was on my team -- defensive lapses and the emotional issues. Leading up to today he had a handful of moments where it felt like he was constantly about to boil over. Then they stopped giving him the Tim "FIBA Sucks" Duncan treatment and he killed it.

He is legitly misunderstood... I hope that somehow, someway that the Spurs can sign him in 2018.

I agree, to a point. I mean, he's an awesome player. His combination of strength and finesse is amazing. He'll do stuff like catch the ball in traffic, spin and kiss it off glass and it will take your breath away. Put him on a good team and his stock would soar. But it would definitely be a chore to manage him through a full season. Not that he's a bad dude at all, just the lack of impulse control. It's an issue for sure.
