GOODBYE RIO!!! See you soon, PyeongChang

Post#1 » by Mr. E » Mon Aug 22, 2016 5:38 am

As the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics draw to a close I just want to say thank you to everyone who participated in this forum! The next time we will see this forum is in two years when PyeongChang, South Korea hosts the 2018 Winter Games!

For the next round of Summer Games we will find ourselves in Tokyo in 2020!

So many great moments in these games. We saw all-time talents like Phelps & Bolt. We saw the UK rising to never-before-seen Summer Olympic glory. We saw Serbia step up in team sports with only a brighter future ahead of them. We saw two Simone's from the Houston, Texas area excel on the grandest stage!

And on a personal, selfish note - we saw some guy from Texas become a huge fan of Handball, which I now realize is one of the most awesome sports out there.

Again - thank you to everyone who participated. Thank you to all of the Croats, the Germans, the Serbs, the Aussies, the Hungarians, the Brits and everyone else across the globe!

It's easy to look at all of the backstage scandal and politics. I'm thanking all of you for looking past that and just loving the concept of competition on a global scale! It is such a common ground.

Great Olympic games. Last time we saw Phelps, Bolt, Mo Farah, Melo, Ginobili, probably Pau and many others.

Great World Records in swimming, 10.000 meters, 400 meters, weightlifting 105+kg.

Watching elite athletes from all-around the world is amazing.

Definitely the best sport event I can watch from TV.

Looking forward to Tokyo.

I like to make love for my ex-wife. But in the end he changed his mind. I decided that I would not spoil the life of a person. By a little stopped thinking about her, more and more often I ordered myself girls on the site here to get distracted. And in the end I forgot my ex-wife completely.

I actually thought the games were pretty good there. Some things were a bit boring, then I just played a little FreeCell online.
