Just to get things going. If we are in as replacements, I'd take number 10 and YES to trades. Thanks!

With Woody out and Moose's late vote, the league has voted in favor of allowing trading during the draft. However I will limit it to 4 trades per team during the draft.

Additionally we will have about 5 weeks to complete the draft (the season kicks off on October 22nd). So we should be able to do it without any problems but if we are cutting it close, I'll systemically reduce the time per pick to 6 hours first and then to 4 hours if we are in danger of not completing it before the start of the start.

Football (aka work) went well today so I had some rare time. Decided to check in my team from last season. I finished 10th out of 20.

Code: Select all

Ps  Player                pick  GP  rank

C    Karl-Anthony Towns  - 3    77  3
SF   Otto Porter Jr.     - 38   56  101
SG   Will Barton         - 43   43  273
G    Joe Ingles          - 78   82  57
G    Buddy Hield         - 83   82  23
F    Allen Crabbe        - 118  43  302
F    T.J. Warren         - 123  43  158
C    Mitchell Robinson   - 158  66  67
SG   E'Twaun Moore       - 163  53  216
PF   Dwight Powell       - 198  77  102
PG   Seth Curry          - 203  74  217
PG   Tomas Satoransky    - 238  80  100
PG   Tyus Jones          - 243  68  151
PF   Cheick Diallo       - 278  64  208

I actually liked my draft last season a lot. I was surprised Fran thought it was a 10-14th place team in his pre-season writeup. 4 of my top 7 picks got hurt and played half a season, and the team still finished 10th. Hoping for better health this season.

Francisco is a analic nerd so he will speak what the number say. We offen talk about that just because I can´t rely on mock drafts slash pre-season previsions. They are offen correct and easy to build for 12 gm x 10 team players roaster the problem with 20 x 14 is you going to take 280 players and injuries/trades in the nba happend alot therefor it´s always hard to project what is going to happend and nothing will stay equal since day 1

I have a proposal before we start the draft if you guys can vote on it it would be great:

Change the playoff weeks from 21-22-23 to 20-21-22. Why? Because "load management" and rest have been growing in the NBA and once teams secure a playoff spot they start resting their players, which **** up a lot of teams during fantasy playoffs. Also another little detail is if we have 19 regular season weeks, in this league we'll play against each team once.

I vote for week 20-21-22 playoffs

So how long does everyone have to pick their draft spot?

Well, if he had predicted injuries would be the issue he would have been. But that's not what he thought the problem was.

I'm also in favor. It also makes the schedule fairer. We would all play every other team exactly once. Week 21 playoffs mean someone plays the best team twice, and someone else plays the worst team twice.
