THE BEST TRADE EVER

Collison
Chandler
Valanciunas

for

Dgreen ( the spurs guy not the good one from GSW )
Jgreen ( the guy that just got inj )
D.waiver powell now that dirk is playing

I veto and if this is not veto worthy i would like to know why

I guess if you only judge by productivity for this season up to now, it's somewhat fair. If you consider where these players were drafted and future potential, then it heavily favors side receiving Collison/Valanciunas/Chandler. On the other hand, if Toronto makes a move, it could hurt Valanciunas more, and Chandler isn't in the long-term plans for Phoenix. I forget how trades are decided in this league. This may be the first in-season trade we've seen in a while.

I thought I should get an email about the trade but I did not.

I have this:
NOTIFY ME OF FANTASY BASKETBALL EVENTS (PENDING TRADES,ETC.) VIA EMAIL?
x Yes No

Set to yes.

Map it out, Fran. Look at the current values (we're half way through the season), look at minute risk (trades, playoff push/non push) and injury risk down the stretch), and get back to me. I made several offers for Jonas, trying to get a comparable F/C for similar ranked players and nobody bit. Plus, I had 3 centres and was sitting a C because of it about once per week. If you think Tyson and Collison had much trade value either... yes, looking at draft positions, this looks ugly. Is it really veto worthy? Give me a break. You're smarter than that.

Since Middleton is returning and he had a very good chance to carry me to the championship, I would like us to vote for next year's Injury List rule. Most of are active in mid-season so let's get this over with.

Are you in favor of or against 1 spot of Injury Reserve on our rosters?

I'm in favor.

Yes -- I don't understand why we don't have one.

Totally agree. I'd bring back 2 spots.

I am in favor of IL. We got rid of it when it was self managed but with Yahoo's system in place, we should bring it back.

Back to that one side trade
Charitable donation ( never a team name was sooooo correct ) was. 49-48-2 now is 84-58-2 nice run ( 35-10 ) lol

Latter I will go back to sly ( doesnt feel so sly now after that trade )

And i will rest my case when I add up

and we get to last week where everything is starting to be set

strong notes from the reg season and predictions:

Top teams that can win it
- CDonation he was out of the playoffs before that sly trade now he is in OFC when you give 3 waiver for 3 players that can produce ( 1 only till the ASL TChandler - that CD tryied to give to me in other great trade - PS dont forget the special thx if you win it all to Sly he really deservs )

- SA/Skai- Props & respect

- SOD- Great overall team

------------------------------

we have a couple of teams fight for that two spots

3si vs tk ( 3si seat is lock since tk is dead for this league and dont set his team, well he doesnt have 4 bench spots only 3 )

IRNG vs DD ( I predict it close but for IRNG ) 6-3
My team vs SOD ( even if everyone of my team played and played well i would find very hard for them to win it here - SOD ) 3-6
Frost vs Mooooosh ( moossh doesnt set his team anymore therefore mr frost should win 6-3 and take his spot )

I already email mooosh but i dont expect miracles
have a nice PO and ty for the fun this year

I guess this season didnt turn out as bad as I expected, given that I was not eliminated from playoffs until the last week. But clearly I have to get on top of things next year and up my game. None of my top picks really under-perfomed their draft spot except Turner, who got hurt (but most teams have someone get hurt). Just goes to show how tough a league it is. Good luck to those who made the playoffs!

I didn't see the IL vote discussion earlier because realgm no longer supports seeing recent activity in threads you are in, so sorry about missing that. I'm fine with any IL that uses yahoo's built-in support instead of a user managed list.

I now notice the "subscribe" thread feature. Yay! Before I was using the egosearch feature which they had left on for mods, but it hasn't worked right for months.

Wow, tied 4-4 and won the tie breaker. Not sure what it was.
