Pick 1 KAT - The 3rd pick is only nice if someone mess around with the 1st or 2nd

I had to either pick 3rd or 20th. I had no time the first few rounds of draft and needed my picks to be close together so that I didn't have to check in every single day. So the draft order part was thrust upon me by my circumstances. Next year can we start around Sept 15? We will still finish in plenty of time - it's a two week draft with the current rules + fantrax.

your team can't possibly be 14th in assists. You should be dead last with me at the bottom.
Good to see Yahoo likes my team as well.

Waiver priority is reverse of the draft order.

Yes and no.

Yes, the number of transactions will reset at the last day of the off-season.

No, your waiver wire budget (100 $) will not reset so spend it wisely.

Waiver wire priority comes into play only when you and another team had bid the same amount on a free agent. In that case whoever has the highest waiver priority gets the player.

Waiver wire priority starts as the reverse draft order as WB said.

If you add a player that no one else wants does you waiver priority still get pushed to the bottom?

Nope it doesnt actually. Waiver priority only matters when there is a contending bid for that player at the same amount.

Waiver priority is mostly a non-issue in leagues with FAAB.

The Rotowire projections are based on cumulative season projections. Floppy has rather healthy team with several players I think that played 80-82 regular season games last season, most notably KAT.

Floppy, is it possible to get rankings based on per game projection stats?

Possible, but I would have to hack something up. Does anyone have a BBM account? Maybe they support it?

Max moves are messed up. The season max moves is supposed to be 45. It is currently set to 80. This is likely because the league was renewed and picked up the value from last season, but the weird reseting of moves for playoffs we do causes it to get set to 80 in the playoffs (probably thats what happens when the commish say '4 per week' for playoffs and doesn't specify a season limit).

You can see the commish txn history that shows this here: https://basketball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/archive/nba/2017/3795/transactions?filter=commish&mid=&count=0

So we need to reset to 45 max moves for regular season.

If any of you guys need another league, PM me. We just need 2 more members!

For the past four seasons, I've been running a fantasy basketball league only open to affiliates of RealGM. In Year 1, we had 259 posts in our discussion thread on the RealGM forums: http://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=1351269 In Years 2-4, we decided to use the league messenger on Yahoo and had active discussion almost every day. Most of the league came back for Year 5, but we still need some new guys to reach 16. If you want to join, I really urge that you're someone who's not only going to be active in the league, but in the chat as well. Here are the league details:

Platform: Yahoo
Number of Teams: 16
Format: Head-to-Head One Win
Categories: Standard 9 Category
Draft Type: Standard Live
Time of Draft: Sunday, October 14 5:00 PM PT

It's a free league unfortunately. Probably just as competitive/active as a paid league though!
