Ok, so here is the situation. Whosthebosh (due to his unstable internet connection) is no longer able to run this league as he would’ve hoped to, and I’d prefer to keep this league alive and well so I’ve decided to run it until WTB is able to do so again. I’m going to make some changes to the league to run it a bit smoother, and hopefully you’ll all understand and agree with these changes.
I’ve narrowed the list of managers to 12, eliminating those that have shown inactivity in the past.

The remaining list of managers is as follows:

Scoring Type: Head-to-Head
Max Moves: No maximum (until H2H playoffs)
Max Trades: No maximum
Trade Reject Time: 1 day
Trade End Date: Yahoo default
Waiver Time: None, add/drop at will
Can't Cut List Provider: Yahoo

As for what we’re going to do with the keepers from the managers that have had their teams folded, they will simply be included in the player pool for the offline draft. I’ve formed a list for all of you so that you’re all fairly warned on who will be available for you to draft:

The picks of Michael Beasley, Derrick Rose and OJ Mayo have all been void, and they will not be added to a manager’s roster until reselected in the restarted draft.

The draft will begin September 13th at 12:00 PM CST. At that point, LarryBonds will be on the clock. Every manager will have 12 hours to make their pick, and if not made in that time frame, they will be free to make their pick at any time, but the draft will go on without them. I will do my best to update the topic as often as possible, but the clock can and will expire whether I am there to update it or not. One thing I have added to the draft is a dead time of 2:00 AM – 8:00 AM CST. You may make picks during that time if you’re on the clock, but it will not count towards your 12 hours as I don’t believe it’s fair to force some managers to either be late for a pick or pick in the early morning hours.

If you have any questions about the draft clock format, please feel free to ask me in the topic and I’ll be glad to answer them.

Waivers will once again no longer exist, at least until the playoffs. During the playoffs, you will have a maximum of 2 adds/drops per week.

With a smaller league and deeper rosters, I’m going to pose a question to all of you on how many keepers you would like. We’re going to go with either 7 (as it stands now) or we can expand to allow for 8 keepers per manager. Let me know what you’d all like.

Also, if possible, can you all please give me a post in this topic just to confirm your interest in what’s been set forth in this new topic. As well, if you can leave me a contact e-mail, that’d be great as well.

UPDATE (09 / 14) : Draft order, rosters and everything else that should be updated has been updated. The draft order has been posted, and I will give a 24 hour window to allow the draft to begin. If LarryBonds has not made his pick by 10:00 PM CST on Monday, September 15, he will be considered late and at that point, the regular 12 hour time windows along with the 6 hour dead period will go into effect. If LarryBonds makes his pick prior to that time, the 12 hour window for Sly will begin from the time LarryBonds makes his post.

Do not forget -- all picks made in the draft previous to this point are void. Beasley, Rose, Mayo along with Thunter and Craigo's keepers from last season are ALL eligible to be drafted to your team.

I don't see why we can't go with 14 managers, makes it easier to keep it at 7 keepers per team also.

I would still like to keep the league going as well. We can keep this league going if we have active members. I would like to fill in the additional roster spots with new gm's who want to join. Anybody who wants to join feel free to post. We'll keep a list of interested gm's in case any members don't show up.

Here's wear we need to start:

1. Have an active person run the league
2. Have all the current gm's post a message with their email so we can contact you and know if you're still interested.
4. Set a deadline for confirmation
3. Fill in the additional roster spots with new gm's who would like to join
5. Start the draft again with the same order

Ocho has volunteered to run this league. A lot of us are pretty busy so we appreciate your time and efforts. I see that the draft restart is on Sept 13. We can push the restarted draft date back so that we make sure everybody is still interested. Lets have everybody confirm their spot first and see who's still interested this year. Lets get a group of active gm's and have a fun competitive season.

Nice, good idea. Set a deadline for this Ocho. I think we're gonna have to replace some gm's this year.

Thanks for picking it up for the season. I should be able to make my picks OK, and hopefully in the next few months I will find my way out of this place and into the city with a better connection to pick things back up for next season.
