I understand your logic. I simply offered as an alternative to slamming him with extra work when i'd be happy to do it. I was going to send/upload him a Video with all updates rosters and simming results to prevent any collution. My interests are 100% in the best of the league's in that regard.

if option 2 was approved, and a video game sim was chosen, you'd have to download by much better rosters than those awful default rosters.

option 2 will be used for the game. the final gm a team rosters will be used to determine teams from best to worst and a lottery will be used to decide the top picks.

...now, how are the teams going to be ranked? any ideas would be incredibly appreciated.

I think two options are viable.

a) We choose an impartial method of auto-sim. ie 2k9 video game sim with updated rosters. In this case, even the lottery can be performed to emulate real draft simulation.

b)It is to be decided by a vote. I guess a third party not consisting of GMs would help to prevent collution in regard to the draft standings.

i like the nba2k9 method. there are several user created rosters out there that have been widely complimented for their adjustments to player ratings and tendencies. basically, the players like they should. this method also allows gm's to determine their rotation and minute allocation.

^It would be the easiest and probably most accurate of Simulations. And some of the downloaded rosters you reccomended are definitely more accurate than that of the default.

Denver has a pretty good chance of ending up in the same position either way unless they pull off some nice moves so you may have nothing to worry about.

As far as I can tell the only contender in the West that has gone 'rebuild' is Dallas. Portland has gone the other way with 'win now'. Denver has changed faces but isn't really better or worse ATM.



In my case 'Detroit' I have gone rebuild and traded away a LP 1st. In real life the Pistons are likely to be close to the very bottom of the draft. That is pretty much a sure thing as far as swinging from one end to the other. Same goes for teams like Miami and Chicago but the other way around.

One thing for sure, it will be fun to watch and see how things play out.

I'm just glad moving the CHI 09 1st didn't turn out to haunt me, game isn't over yet though
