Build an NBA Team (BaNT) - discussion

so, with gm a team running strong and gm a team decade style about to start, i figured i'd see if anyone wanted to get involved in the 3rd edition of Build an NBA Team. Gm a team is a really involved game and may not be great for everyone, this game is really simple and takes a lot less involvement and time (tired of feeling left out of the different games). all you have to do is check in periodically, make a pick, update your roster.

anywhoo, basically we have a snake draft filling out our rosters. we then matchup bracket style until we get a champion. each matchup will get voted on by every other participant on the team's ability to win NOW.

my only twist is that lebron/cp3/kobe/wade/howard will not be in the game. want to make it about team building more grabbing a superstar, this part is up for debate though.

1st phase: participant sign ups + team name selection

2nd phase: each participant is given a number slot.

3rd phase: using a snake draft we fill our rosters up to 10 spots.

4th phase: brackets are randomly set up, particpants argue for their team.

5th phase: each matchup is voted by peers, we eventually decide a champion.

Are the teams based strictly on basketball merit or are salaries, youth movement vs. veteran team and other criteria included?
