Hi,
If I was to estimate the # of possessions using say Dean Oliver's formula or something similar, what is the standard deviation for
a) 1 quarter
b) 1 half
c) 1 game
I assume this formula is pretty spot on when you look at 82 games, but how off can it get for smaller sample sizes?
