In before a 5000 word essay on why that's legally true as owner of Monumental blah blah blah.

Hard to put into words how much I hate the guy.

Look at that picture ^.

If you wanted to create a Marvel villain who is duplicitous and scheming, this is the hair you’d use — Janus-faced hair.

They can nickname the new arena the Tanning Booth

Jordan Poole and this turd deserve each other. Back into success with Steph Curry/AOL, fail on their own, blame others, somehow remain irrationally confident.

Poor Jordan Poole.

Looks like the bill failed on this go around. It wouldn't shock me if Ted tries to move the team out of the DMV entirely.

When did Poole blame anyone? Much as I dislike his play with this team, his public reaction to it all has been reserved and gracious as far as I have seen. He refused to talk about any of it, deflecting questions and Saying nothing negative about Dray or anyone. Those inside the Warriors organization said he was exemplary there too, dealing with it with humor and yeah a sharp business sense.

Can't stand his game, but he has done about as well as can be expected on the PR part of the incident. If he were playing well then he'd be a good story.

Ted though, no, he squandered public good will a long time ago. He's not the worst owner but many of his PR failings are entirely self-inflicted. He's punched himself in the face, basically, more than once.

Good luck finding a locality without a hockey team and basketball team. If he wanted to move to Seattle, no dice. Ditto Vegas.

Screw Turd. Worst owner in the NBA. Complete cheapskate who has paid the tax once during his ownership. He doesn’t care about winning. His production value for the broadcasts is embarrassing.

That's a good point. As bad as Poole is as a player, Ted is worse as an owner.

Poole is a dumbass but he's not a bad person the way Ted is. At least the media will hold him accountable now, hopefully, without Snyder tanking aggro for him.

He never will, but I wish Ted would just sell the team. Like really. Dude clearly doesn't give a fk about basketball at all, it feels like the Capitals are his real baby and the Wizards are the ugly 75 IQ step child. I'm sure a business genius like Terd can find other assets to sink his money and time into. Actually now that Cuban is leaving Shark Tank, they should get Terd on there. He and Mr. Wonderful can make up stories about how they found the championship trophy when they were doing drywall work in the garage or whatever lame ass story he came up with.

What makes you think that he has more love for the Capitals? If it because of the championship, it doesn't mean anything to me. He should of probably had more while having one of the greatest hockey players ever.

Like the saying goes, even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Everything that comes out of Ted's mouth is just laughable at this point. Here is he blaming a local ramen place for having outdoor seating which "boxes him in". This guy is a billionaire by the way.

Everything coming up aces for our guy. Apparently the Nats are no longer an option.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2024/02/19/nationals-sale-lerner-family/

You can imagine Terd slowly turning into Abe and it's driving him crazy. It all started with him going from fat ted to skinny Terd, shrinking down to Abe size. Now, committed to/boxed into DC, and without the Nats, he remains a mom and pop shop owner of the historically and hilariously awful Wizards franchise. The man is scratching and clawing to be something other than Abe but he's fighting against pure evil - the Curse of Les Boulez.

I'm still laughing at their plan to have everyone drive to the Reagan parking lot then take the metro to the new stadium. Honestly Ted has no idea how lucky he is to have fallen into that job at AOL. He should be cleaning pools in Athens.
