Otto was good for them that season. He has only had one healthy season since the day we traded him, and that healthy season happened to be with the world champions. He averaged 13 points and 9 boards per 36 while playing the 4 and shooting 37% from 3-point range.

I'm not a Beal hater or anything. But I gotta say, I don't miss this:

Mo Wagner has carved out a nice role off the bench with Orlando. Per 36 he's averaging 21/9 with a TS of 66%.

Tremendous value at only 8M per year with one more option-year that Orlando is certain to pick-up.

Beal was 8 of 10 from 3-point range against the Lakers last night. He had more open catch-and-shoot looks from 3 in one game than he typically got in a month on the Wizards:

I would say slightly more and Beal even created separation off the dribble for 2 of them.

It seems like also Vogel is forcing him outside his comfort zone to take more 3s.

Beal did put up 20 in the 3rd quarter but only took 4 shots in the first half.

:o Good Lord, when will this version of Beal re-appear, perhaps systems matter, even Bol Bol has been good for the Suns in his role.

Yeah Bol Bol has been surprisingly good. He isn't forcing up bad shots, moving the ball well, and playing closer to the rim. Even had a block where he didn't even jump.

If Beal ever shoots close to 40% from 3 with his newly developed game, he becomes more deadly . With Wes Unseld, Beal was trending towards becoming a better 3 point shooter than with Brooks (at least Beal was getting worse and worse when Wall got injured) but it looks like Vogel + superior talent could allow Beal to take those 3s and live up the billing of Ray Allen. Still has to stay healthy. It does appear that he will continue to make those dumb turnovers from time to time but you gotta take the good with the bad similar to how Westbrook plays.
