I usually dont post in post game threads, but the raps had no business winning tonight, Wiz deserved it. Good game.

Clearly defense is the difference between winning and losing for this team.

Gutsy win from you guys and your bench guys really pulled it out. I don't know what it is about your arena, but there have been some crazy unpredictable games between our two teams there recently. You'll forgive me if I'm hoping for a 3rd quarter knockout by the Raps in the game I'll be attending tomorrow.

See you in a few more hours.

Dominic was all over the place and the Wizards matched Toronto's energy.

For that matter, give Sam Mitchell, Kris Humphries, Jamario Moon, Calderon, Parker, and Bosh all credit for playing hard. They never conceded. Kapono dropped a great shot, too.

Good game.

It would be great to face Toronto as 4-5 or 6-3 in the playoffs.

Sorry to nit-pick, but on the Raps last possession before OT, they hit the trey over AD & Mason with AB running over on help. You have to have your tallest players in on that play with 1.2 seconds to-go.

Roger's shot was lucky, but good. He also had a nice shot that Jamison tapped in.

EJ having Mason in there, and not BTH or N1 worked out very well.

Decent of you to acknowledge that, ccj. I think we all, EJ included, saw something from DMac that will result in him getting more minutes, especially against a team like Toronto, which really only went with one big man---Bosh.

DMac has both a nose for the ball and the athleticism to beat other players to it.

I think we all need to give AD some love (and stop trying to trade him all the time.) He may be a terrible shooter and a mediocre defender, but AD has the kind of poise and veteran savvy that every team needs in a PG, especially at crunch time.

You can also depend on AD to knock down his free throws.

You may be right. However, big guys aren't accustomed to defending 3 point shooters and EJ may have been afraid that a Pech or Haywood may have fouled a three point shooter.

As it was, Parker hit an extremely difficult shot over 2-3 defenders. So it's hard to say that EJ didn't make the right call.

closq, three guys were closing on him.

If you have all talls, chances are a small for Toronto leaks out and ends up getting a wide open three.

I can't fault him with them going for a three not having talls in there.

I like it.

I had the same thought although I thought DMac might
guard Bosh. DMac with his best game as a pro. Easily.
Still made some mistakes but dang he was boarding like
a demon.

True dat. Even though AB had an excellent game, without calling
EJ a moron, I thought BH would have helped some, especially late
and in OT.

Hey, I'm coming around but now you're asking too much.

Next bad game AD has I'm going to the trade forum!

What saved EJ today was calling Dominic on McGuire's good day INSTEAD of having Darius in there for Brendan.

he is actually finishing on drives in addition to hitting open looks.
To top it off, he's hitting shots in 1on1 situations.

This was the most Stevenson drove all season long and actually finished. Maybe he's getting it. Teams are starting to defend him because he can shoot the three and he's using a little fake and taking it to the basket, which has been rare. I also think it helped that Calderon plays defense like Steve Nash, which is it let people drive by him.

not hardly

they are definitely in the top 4-6 in the east, maybe top 3 even

we were fortunate that AP, and Bargs both sucked tonight.
Moon didn't give them much either. Great win for us coming
back after the improbable shot for OT. Their record isn't a fluke.

Is Blatche usually this good? He shows a lot of promise. I would of love to seen him go head to head with Bargnani. Everytime Blatche starts he amazes me.

So you actually think they can win a playoff series? I think not. Other than Bosh they have no scorers and in general they just are a very soft and weak team. We were playing without two All Stars and still won the game. If you Take Bosh and Calderon out of their lineup you think they could beat us? Just take a look around the league. Teams without their stars usually struggle but not us. With Caron we win tonight's game by 15+.
