According to some guys in the league they don't view this draft favorably at all!
Could we get the number #1 over all pick for Kuz. All logic says no, but if the hawks are desperate and make a rash move, it's like not that far fetched.

Watching Kuzma go to the Suns would be hilarious. There is only one ball to go around….
I honestly think Beta Beal would be the fourth option there.

Re: Official Trade Thread Part XLVI
Getting a 2025 1st round pick for Kuzma would be better, but I wonder if they continue to fail with him as the lead dog would it more or less a late 1st rounder next year. Also, heaven forbid Kuzma's production crater this year and we lose value.

Memphis already has their own Kuzma in GG Jackson.

You would think with a weak draft and several teams wanting another piece this is the time to trade Kuzma if the value is good.

16 seems light. To Detroit for 5?

That doesn't seem likely for Kuz alone.penbeast0 wrote:16 seems light. To Detroit for 5?

Maybe, but it's a starting point to see if that is what Detroit is looking for.

Detroit has to be desperate to improve soon. They've been a dumpster fire for years.
They might want Kuz and Kispert. Not sure what that trade looks like. Marcus Sasser and draft picks? Jaden Ivey?

Kuz to Philly for 16 and a future #1, likely to be end of the first round, works for me. They get another solid vet to add to Embiid at a relatively low cost so they can add another free agent.
Would do the same trade with the Lakers.

Morey has said he is looking to trade picks for players and has a ton of cap space so we wouldn't have to take a player back.

I listened to The Game Theory ,NBA Podcast earlier, their mock draft when they got to 16 they were both like Zero chance Philly makes this pick, They are definitely trading this for veteran help.
IMO Kuzma would fit nicely with Embiid & Maxey.
Kuzma + 51 to Philly for 16 & 37.

Love it. But.. why give 51? & we'd need to take back salary, no?
