And Hachimura hit 3-6 from long, with 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and a block. Lakers beat full Celtics squad in Boston without James and Davis. Lakers fans going crazy.

Lakers last night reminded me of the everyone eats Wizards. The ball movement was excellent and knocking down a lot of 3s helped.

Good eye -- thanks!
Looks like an extremely interesting book (interesting to me: I'm way in to American movies of the '30s - '50s).

Of course you are. It's nice to go back and watch movies that came out when you were in college.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Dawn of the Dead helped prepare me for being a Bullets/Wizards fan.

Probably belongs in another thread, but you might enjoy (if you haven’t already) Graham Green on Film, a compilation of his film reviews, I think, largely or entirely from the 30s. Beyond the observations and the writing (I’m a fan), I like the contemporaneous audience POV.

Wemby had a 5x5 game last night: 27 points, 10 boards, 8 assists, 5 steals, 5 blocks.

Over the last 4 games he has averaged:
25 points, 11.5 boards, 5.5 assists, 3.3 steals and 5.8 blocks in just 29.6 minutes a game.
Per 36, that is: 30.2 points, 14.0 boards, 6.7 assists, 4.0 steals, 7.1 blocks.

And remember, this is the worst version of him. He only gets better going forward.

Missed this, sorry.
I know Graham Greene's book of film reviews & have read many of his novels as well -- a tremendous writer.

I would go with "Waiting for Godot."

Enjoyed watching NBA games this past weekend. GSW and LAL continue to be must-see-tv, even if they are play-in teams. And sick game winner by Kyrie. :o

One of the most incredible shots I've ever seen. A running left-handed hook from 18 feet! Unreal!

Dunno if Brad was playing PG last night, but he had 3 points in 36 minutes and had 7 dimes.
