Beal is such a mental midget. Remember when that role player on the Warriors got him heated with a comment? Can we please move on from this clown?

I don’t see the problem. Is Westbrook a mental midget too?

I really object to the term "mental midget". I think Beal is one of the brighter and classier guys in the NBA. After over 500 games, he finally got baited into a bad situation by a loser fan and let emotion get the better of him. It was a mistake, and as keynote mentioned in the other thread, Beal has to rise above this. But the man is human - everyone has bad days. And he didn't actually hit the guy. He just knocked off his hat. Now some guy is trying to play the lottery with the legal system.

I swear, I'll just never understand the personal animosity and vitriol some fans experience towards Beal. Yes, I'd like him traded so the team can start a proper rebuild, but I don't feel any hate toward the guy. If I met him, I'd love to have a beer with him. He seems like a pretty cool dude.

Well done, nate! I agree word for word with what you write above.

The good news Nate is that most Zards fans feel the same way that you do about Beal.

At Wizards games, you'll occasionally hear someone shout out "Beal you suck!" But, imo, the overwhelming majority of fans at Cap One, despite how they might feel about his contract and play on occasion, embrace BB as a high-character individual...the kind of person you want as the face of your franchise.

BTW, in recent weeks I've heard other NBA players complain about the impact of gambling on the game they play. Lately, there always seems to be fans seated near me at Cap One who are far more concerned about the point spread than the outcome of the game.

At least once college coach (Anthony Grant at Dayton) has publicly complained about bettors who have threatened or sent abusive messages to his players.

You’re the face of the franchise and letting some degenerate gambler get under your skin. The fan pressing charges is weak too. But Brad needs to do a better job of keeping his composure. I wish he cared about winning as much as he does some fan’s heckling.

Yes…Beal should not have let the heckler get under his skin. But then again you nor I have any idea what was said to him.

Most fans/hecklers are simply rude…but some can be downright nasty and disrespectful.

Now I view Westbrook kicking out fans in a different light, at least 3 times. They probably didn't deserve to be kicked out but in an alternative world, Westbrook would have one or more physical confrontations.

Honestly, other than costing himself maybe some money which he can definitely afford, no one really cares as far as a public relations point. It's hard being a public figure and if the worst thing that comes out that he tipped over fans hat, then the Wizards would consider themselves lucky.

Yeah I don’t blame Beal for reacting the way that he did. A mistake forsure, but hard to put yourself in the shoes of a famous athlete that has to listen to people cross the line and direct disrespectful/dehumanizing comments at him and is expected to keep his cool and never react.

Brandon from Locked On Wizards might be the dumbest dude in DC. He thinks Beal’s time in DC is done after this incident. He’s acting like Beal shot somebody. Am I missing something?

If you can't create shots, then how can you be considered elite? Going 3 for 4 in 30 minutes is not elite, its efficient but is also putting pressure on teammates to create what you can't and in turn lowers their efficiency.

I did not consider injuries but instead really focused heavily on production, usage, efficiency & impact on both sides of the ball when making this list....

Hence, if I'm understanding you correctly, the list of 50 that follows is, essentially, in order of how much good happens once "my team" has the ball.

These are the guys who produce the most in that situation. Do I have that right?
