The Official Kyle Kuzma Thread
Look at his numbers before Lebron arrived.
Before he was relegated to a catch-and-shooter.
I don’t know what the advanced stats look like — the other numbers actually look pretty good. At a glance.
And … there was a report that San Antonio wanted/wants him.
If San Antonio wants you …

Derrick White would make so much sense for Kuzma

Re: The Official Kyle Kuzma Thread
He was picked by LeTravel to be the most improved on the Lakers team…pre-trade.
So maybe, there is something there.
True, he starting to show a lot more game before LeTravel and company arrived, and maybe their arrival stunted his growth. Let’s see what our new coach and staff can do with him.

I am hoping we flip him. Not interested in seeing him take time away from other guys.

I miss him already. "The Amazingly Sucky Kyle Kuzma" thread could've been epic.

I don’t believe Kuzma will ever suit up for the Wiz

Kuzma might be my least favorite player in the league. To cite a somewhat obscure stat, his DA** is an NBA worst -79.
**DA = Dumbassery.

Can't say I do. Who else gonna shoot?

Westbrook might have been second in the statistic.

Lakers didn’t include him in the AD trade but sent Ingram and Ball...but I’m supposed to think dude can’t ball.
Lebron makes it easy for some and more difficult for others - let’s hope kuz gets back to His winning ways...remember he has a ring _

I'm pretty sure that the Pels preferred Ingram to Kuz. It was pretty obvious that Ingram was going to be the better player.
But I am interested in seeing how Kuzma plays now that he's no longer a Laker. I do think some players wilt playing in the shadow of a superstar like Lebron...but might excel once removed from that setting.

I get "poor man's Tatum" vibes from him. But hey, now that he is out of LaBron's orbit, maybe he'll work hard and achieve "working class Tatum" status.
We could really use a scorer off the bench. Kuzma is the best candidate currently on the roster to fill that role.

Always remember, my friend: the world will change again. And you may have to come back through everywhere you've been.

I don't think we'll see him here this season. But if he plays, I think getting away from LA and LeBron might be the best thing to happen to him. Or he doesn't really take hoops seriously enough and he's just not a good player.

I have no interest in seeing him in a wiz uniform. He would only take minutes away from better players. Flipping him and Holiday to the Spurs for Derrick White would be terrific.

I get strong Mcgee/Nick Young/Oubre buffoonery vibes from him. Personally I don't want him on the roster, and if other teams have interest in him I'd happily dump him for little in return

Re: The Official Kyle Kuzma Thread
He can shoot 3-pointers at 35%, and play slightly better D than Bertans. Given how streaky 3-point shooters can be, we need both Kuzma and Bertans on the roster. If all Kuzma is asked to do is shoot 3’s, then he will do fine here.

Even McGee grew up at some point and Kelly held down heavy minutes on the GSW. Nickyoung even got it together late.Kanyewest wrote:J-Ves wrote:I get strong Mcgee/Nick Young/Oubre buffoonery vibes from him.
