Take the victory but I'm not impressed with the team performance.
It is nice that the city is back behind the team.

One wonders if that'll ever happen for the Wiz. Guess I shouldn't
say back when they've never really had the passion to begin with,
compared to other franchises.

I was at the game. Howell was leaving plays on the field. Dotson and Terry were open several times, and Howell wasn't seeing them.

If this continues into week 5, I wouldn't be surprised if Brissett takes the helm.

I'm not to bothered by the week one W howell was getting creamed out there. That needs addressed in some way shapq or form. He should adjust. But he needs to move if his O line can't protect him.

Howell reminded me of Rex Grossman this game, hope he settles down. Need the O-line to improve too. I guess the Def only gave up two FGs b/c they weren't on the field for the Cards touchdown.
I guess I'll call it a pro that OC now knows you have to hand off to B-Rob more to set things up. Sadly Crowder is an improvement in the return game and I don't see Logan Thomas dropping 3 passes again but his burst didn't look great.

Overall that looked like a sub-.500 team. Need to get something in a trade for Chase Young who apparently doesn't want to be here. Fine signing Sweat instead.

Again, I’m going to optimistically withhold judgement on Sam. I really think he got his bell ring. He just didn’t look right.

I hope that's the case because he's going to get lit up if he continues to hold the ball too long and try and scramble for minimal gains. That hit happened literally right in front of my seats, and it was an unnecessary hit to take. He could have easily just thrown the ball out of bounds.

As hopeful as we are that our boy is going to be amazing. He's still basically a rookie starter. He had one start as a rookie in a garbage game. He has stuff to learn. Like pocket management. Nothing teaches you faster than getting you guys speared out of you on live TV. He got wrecked and at least 2-3 of those sacks were his fault. He will learn.

What a win. Howell was absolutely fantastic this game.

The defense...WTF. Terrible in the first quarter, fanstastic the rest of the game until the second to last play. I feel like Del Rio isn't properly scouting/prepping for the opposing team and is making in-game adustments on the fly.

Special teams still struggling on the snaps.

Great to see Chase out there. Missed that kid when he's healthy.

What a nutty ending. Should have been PI on two point conversion. However, the play before the Hail Mary should have been called out of bounds. Phew. My heart stopped

Imagine if the defense didnt't take 1.5 quarters off each game or the offense didn't stall out for about a quarter each game.

The o-line almost has to be slowly improving, right--right???

I can't spell his name, but the new OC has been impressive.

I think Howell is legit, but I'm definitely afraid of him getting hurt.

He has a bad tendency to take sacks that are not needed.

It's starting to become less about Rivera and more about just what curse is put on this team that success simply can't be had regardless of the pieces on the field.

Man rough game but those happen. We really need to focus on the offensive line at the trade deadline. We have chace young and a couple of extra running backs let's make some deals for some line man and some late round draft picks.
