Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.

I'd probably follow up by trying to trade out of our #26 pick in exchange for a 2025 pick in the same range. I don't want to try and develop 3 rookies plus Bilal and Vukcevic at the same time. Dallas doesn't have a 2024 pick in this draft and they have a tradeable 2025 pick. They'd probably do that.
The end result is that we would pick #1-5 and at #11 in this draft, and then pick #1-5 and #25-ish in the 2025 draft. And Kuzma being gone would probably accelerate the development of Avdija a bit.

Kuzma goes to Miami. Wizards receive Jovic, Paul Reed, Ty Jerome, 2024 16th pick, Philly's 2026 FRP and a $23 million TPE.

The most encouraging part is that this was proposed by an actual (albeit lower-tier) NBA journalist/columnist. It reinforces the idea that Kuzma has real value in the league. Bobby Marks also pretty consistently hypes Kuzma's value.
It's relevant because all the spreadsheet jockey's on the Trade Board consistently poo-poo Kuzma as literally a negative value player.

The floor on a Kuzma return is 2 FRPs. I'm not taking anything less. It's a great contract for a productive player.

Didn't we just about take 1 FRP for him? From Dallas? Turned it down as a courtesy to Kuz who didn't want to go there for some reason...?
For sure, the declining contract will make him more & more appealing to teams over the next year or so....

I remember being confident in his NBA chances while others had doubts. I think Wiggins is on par with Kispert.
