Selling half says to me she still believes in Monumental, but probably wants to diversify, or she just has a really attractive alternative. Same amount of work/due diligence to sell half as all.

I'm sure she's well-diversified already, as her share in Monumental can't constitute a huge portion of her portfolio.

I imagine she's making a very nice profit on her investment &, as you suggest, she has an opportunity she wants to take advantage of by using the $$ raised in the sale.

a 10% share of a $5B company is a bit more than couch cushion change. She had a full $1b of her $15B net worth tied up here, now down to $500M. It's probably for liquidity purposes.
