Game Thread 45: WAS @ DET
How many shots will Kuzma and Poole put up combined with their obvious connections to the state of Michigan?
I'm going with 48.

It's starting to feel like the Wizards will never win again.

It could get ugly if we don't take one of these two from DET or SA in looking at the schedule.

Kuzma already with 6 shots up half way through the first with most being low quality attempts.

I'm good with losing to our competitors for the tankingship; then we can beat Boston or someone.

I will never understand the rational behind giving Kuzma to take so many shots in a rebuilding 7-37 record team when these shots could go to Deni and Bilal to help them gain some momentum for the future. But what do I know. Every organization and its priorities.

I don't apply that logic with Detroit because I know they're going to finish in the bottom 3 no matter what. I apply this logic with Charlotte and Portland.
I don't mind finishing 2nd or 3rd to last because there's virtually no difference in the lotto odds. We just don't want to finish 4th-to-last or 5th-to-last.

Seems like Bagley has given some added motivation to Gafford. He's been very active lately.

Key buckets? They were already up 7 when Kuzma made his first shot in the 4th with 4 minutes left.

I kind of like the rotation and competition. And they are very different at the position both offensively and defensively.

He was an efficient .230 from 3. So there is that. He only jacked up 13 of them.

I wasn't worried about bagleys foul shooting but it was nice to see him go 7/8 today.
