I may have spoke to soon. AB with another foul. Looked like a charge.

Yeah, they'll leave Blatche in until he fouls out. Then Haywood will come back.

Blatche needs to stop trying to draw the charge. Seriously. It seems like he gets 2-3 blocking fouls a game. He;s better off just trying to play defense...

Teckon wrote:Does not make sense because you have not been watching rockets recently. With Tmac out, they have won 4 of their last 6 games and the offense has done well, improving game on game. Rick Adelman's effort to improve Rockets' offense has started to bear fruit as demonstrated in their recent surge so far. But Rockets are prone to blow big lead so Wizards still have a chance.

Even so, if a team takes Yao out of the game and with their other star (McGrady) injured, that team (no matter what offense they run) should not be very effective.

Yeah. Your right. OP cant be ready.

At least its a good experience for AB playing with 5. You need
to learn how to do that at some point.

Growing pains but I'll take it.

That is the beauty of Rick Adelman's motion offense. With the motion offense, the rest of the guys having easier shots. Anyway, it is not that easy to take yao out of the game as even in a bad day, he will still be the focus of the opponents. As for defense, Rockets are still a good defensive team, 3rd in opponent' FG% and 5 in overall defensive rating (according to ESPN). They are also 3rd in rebounding rating as demonstrated in this game.

Woodshack used to do the same thing if you remember.

Its ok. He will work it out. More playing time and
he will get there. Its just the cost of doing business.

Ahh crap. Why did Songaila shoot. They should have gone back to Nick.

Now its going to be tough. We could have done this thing.

We could have got it to 5.

"Backbreaker"... says Buckantz.

WTF???

There are almost 6 minutes remaining and its just a 10 pt lead.

It's almost like Buckhantz wants the Wiz to lose. Or has spent so much of his time watching the bad Wizards and Bullets teams that he's just habituated to 10 point leads meaning the game is over.

2 straight possessions to cut the lead to 5 and come up with nothing and then Houston makes a 3 and goes on ANOTHER big run. Rinse and Repeat.

Absolutly. We need to take them to the Woodshack.

Ahh, EJ what are you doing?

You got a T. EJ never gets Ts. Not good timing on that one.
