Why haven't we traded this guy for some prospects and cap relief yet?

Butler for Jared Jeffries....Butler is over paid, so it only makes sense he goes to NY.

Love it for the Wiz but why would Isiah help us out like that?

Dude! Trade Butler and start Maguire. 10 boards in 22 minutes translates to 20 boards in 44 minutes. Paired with Jamison, we could get be getting 40 boards a night just from our starting forwards!

And we're going to need all the rebounders we can get once the inefficient, shot jacker returns.

I truly wonder if CB is holding us back.

Looking at it from a lineup perspective we could better off in a number of ways:

AD, NY, DS, AJ, BH

This gives up plenty of ballhandling an a multi-dimensonal attack why ample weapons who can slash and shoot.

AD, DS, AJ, AB, BH
DS, RM, DM, AJ, BH

Both of these lineups gives us a nice balance of shooting ability paired with perimeter D.

AD, RM, AJ, AB, BH
DS, RM, AJ, AB, BH

I think both these lineups offer the great versatility of a real inside outside game with AJ & AB becoming a nice tandem at F. Maybe come in with DM as a reasonable small ball option when BH needs a break. We get just enough scoring in the backcourt with AD, DS, RM or NY.

Brilliant! I'm guessing you've had this idea for years and have been touting it on other message boards?

Dude eats up way too many of Songalia's minutes, hinders DSong's development.

Trade Checker ID # 2390u349u35930u39u

Wiz trade: Butler
Wiz get: Chuck Nevitt

Why for Wiz? Losing Butler frees up cap room to allow us to make a run at Tony Massenburg. I just like saying Chuck Nevitt

the real questions is: will butler opt out of his extention in hopes for a max contract, and will he not shut up about it?

Oh Yeah...well that's unfortunate. It comes in handy on nights like this. *dodges lightning bolt*

Clearly, Caron Butler was holding McGuire back. If Caron didn't make so many shots, how would we expect McGuire to get any offensive rebounds
