What a pathetic soap opera of a life...

Ha! They "met" at DC Space. That's some old DC. Maybe this needs to be redirected to the DC Used to Be Better thread.

i feel like i'm playing jenga. i want to keep going but this thread's at the tipping point. can we petition to give this thread triple digit immunity?

edit: bizarre timing that this thread grew to critical mass with the advent of free agency and one of the greatest betrayals of all time. i guess that's what fate is.

seriously, the top 5 goes Judas, Rahab, Benedict Arnold, Lebron James, and Brutus.

I think a thread for LeBron hate will be a necessity here for the foreseeable future.

Wow, quite a thought, and well expressed.

To some extent, this is how I've felt about him for some time now, but I had not thought through that he'd likely being playing de facto point in Miami, and had not articulated it so clearly, even to myself.

Okay guys. Time to shut down this thread and begin a new one.

The reason threads get shut down after 100 pages has to do with some technical back-end issues. Not about thread length as a matter of any other meaning.

Whoever begins the new hate thread, please make clear that we keep our hate here on THIS board - don't export it to other boards. Because we're all smart people, we enjoy sophisticated, biting snark.

Have at it.

Any volunteer to start the new thread?

I don't want to miss the chance to post on page 100 of this monumentally important thread. Maybe this thread can be sent to the Smithsonian so it can be archived and future generations will know the complete story...

It feels good that we hated Lebron before hating Lebron was cool.

this is my first post on this thread. kinda cool getting in at the end. Hate LeBron? Not me. Especially now that Cavs owner Gilbert has shown what an a**hole he is.

This thread is kinda like Jack Kent Cooke's box at RFK Stadium. Democrats, Republicans, Black, White, whatever - everyone came together united in purpose and shared the bonds of fellowship in a common cause.

Alas, I'll miss this thread, just like I miss old RFK...

What does your feelings of Dan Gilbert have to do with what you think of LeBron and/or his actions?

Absolutely. I've had numerous people at the office come up to me the past few days and say - "you were right". It's definitely nice to see the rest of the basketball world catch up with how much of a d-bag he is. Here's to the next 100 pages.

New team, but the thread as currently titled can have the same name, followed by a II and perhaps a subtitle ("The return of" something or other). If Hands doesn't start it, perhaps LeBJ will do the honors.

Boo. Defenses of LeBron are strictly off-topic.
