We're a half game ahead of the Kings.

I think its time for Jamison's knee to "act up".

You never know when that tendinitis will flare up.

Oh, and Caron's "hamstring" might need some extended rest.

Never happen. For better or worse, Jamison never quits.

Wizards remaining schedule:

Clippers remaining schedule:

Kings remaining schedule:

T'Wolves remaining schedule:

I highly doubt we finish with the worst record in the league. I could see us ending 3rd or 4th.

I really don't see Washington winning more than three games out of that remaining schedule. That would put the Wizards at 19 wins still one behind Minnesota, assuming of course they drop every remaining game on their schedule.

At worst I see Washington finishing 3rd, with 2nd being a real possibility.

One advantage for the Wizards is that the Kings, Clips, and T-Wolves all play each other again, so that's 3 games that somebody has to win.

Help us, Obi-wan Leonsis. You're our only hope.

Look at how delusional a lot of the OKC fans are. They would take Jeff Green (who has a below-average PER) over Griffin.

If we are picking 2nd I'd take Mr. Un-Stop-able. James Harden SG from AU.

I'd go Evan Turner before I'd take a flier on Harden.

Come on Clippers you can do it!

That's some good news.

I think that if we can't get Griffin or an elite PF this offseason, then we need to train McGee more into being a PF. At that spot his excellent shotblocking ability would complement Haywood's post D very well and that would really solidify the D in the post so that the coaching staff doesn't have to crowd the paint anymore. Furthermore, McGee already has the midrange J. I feel that he can dominate some of the PFs in this league with his height and length. That's not to say that he shouldn't play center next season, but I am saying he needs to be more of a PF/C rather than just a center.

Harden is nice ..... i hope we land a top 3 pick 1)Blake 2)Rubio 3)Harden or pick up Tiebeat with the 3rd or 4th if we and he slides there ...trade him with stevenson for the rights to Garald Henderson and a expiring .... Henderson is nice too

That's the scenario I'm hoping for. We could probably work that out with Minnesota.

I'm always weary of Duke players. His disappearing act yesterday didn't help matters either.

Fellow tanksters, I am getting worried that we may not be able to catch Sactown in the chase for the ultimate fail grail. Our ping pong balls are looking to be less and less. Our best chance for the ultimate prize is fading. With GA looking to be back, and BH possibly playing a few games, we could stand a better chance of winning more games. We may even vault into 3rd or 4th. Oh noooos.... we cant even loose right. :o :banghead: :sigh:

Forget Sacramento. Catching them is a pipe dream. They probably won't win two more games all year, so even if we lost all of our remaining games, we'd still have a coin flip for the most ping pong balls.

On the other hand, Sacramento does play a very vital role in our quest for ping pong balls. Why? Because they still have to play the Grizzlies (tonight), @ the Clippers, and @ the T-wolves. Losing those three games would be a huge boost to our chances.

The T-wolves look like they'll struggle to win any games outside of the finale vs. the Kings (though they do play the Clippers). The Clipps have Minn, OKC, and LAC still on the schedule. The Grizzlies have the Kings and Wiz, and OKC only has the Clippers left among the 50+ loss teams.

Best case scenario: Sacramento loses out and guarantees the worst record.
Grizzlies beat Sac, the Wiz , and steal one more (Milwaukee? Atlanta in the finale?)
Clipps beat Sac and Min
Wolves beat the Kings.
OKC beats the Clippers.

That leaves OKC & Min at 21 wins, Grizz & Clipps at 20 wins.

If the Wiz win 2 of their last 9, they'll be at 19 wins, 2nd worst. Win 3, and they'd be tied for 2nd with Mem & LAC - splitting the balls. Win 4 and they'd drop all the way to a 3-way tie for 4th.

Clearly, the margin of "error" is very small.

I'm both weary and wary of Duke players.
