I admit, DeBrick's shooting was just laughable... however, I do have to give him some credit. He gave some pretty good minutes, played hard D, dropped a couple of dimes and hey, did actually put one through the basket (as opposed to near the basket) although it came after the halftime buzzer.

At least for last night, the individual pieces all added up such that players of marginal offensive talent like DeBrick can focus on what they can do well and make a positive contribution.

How nice is it to have a real coach?

Additional honorable mentions: Haywood, Miller, Butler (Butler was unexceptional by Butler standards, but was very good nonetheless).

I just wanted to say that Randy Foye was out there looking smooth. I thought he really had some decent stretches last year so I couldn't for the love of me understand why the Wolves were so willing to part with him.
