Miller has 4 boards and 2 assists in 3 minutes of play. The guy is all over the place.
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.

Gil already with two "wow" moments. The one breakin' ankles crossover and the no look to Haywood. Christ it's good seein' him back like this

please stop shooting Haywood. He should only try to score when he gets the ball passed to him right under the basket or on a put back.

It is.

Also, I've never seen this many FGAs from Haywood in one quarter. If he converted half of them the Wizards would have a good lead.

EDITED: He's 3-6, my bad.
Bye bye Beal.

One part of the game is going predictably. Miller and Oberto are both on the bench with 2 fouls. Three more minutes in the penalty. Hawks only have 3 fouls.

The defense is nice to see, but their reaching and getting beat off the dribble could be a trend.
Bye bye Beal.

Love the hustle by Butler, diving on the floor.

Then again, 80 games left. Don't get hurt, Tough Juice.
Bye bye Beal.

Hawks are scoring with ease.

I'm probably gonna DVR the rest of the game, or I'll post 1000 times at this pace.

I don't like Haywood this quarter. Zero rebounds so far. Missed three shots in a row that Atlanta turned around and converted for 6 or 7 points.

Worse, he hasn't been a good help defender. The basket's been unprotected and guys are getting reaching fouls.

Stevenson with 3 fouls in less than 4 minutes. Bad, but Haywood's not helping.
Bye bye Beal.

"Stevenson goes to the bench for what will probably be a long time," said the Hawks play-by-play commentator. lolz abound

We're sucking guys. We need a boost. The move to Foye was smart, but it probably should have come earlier.

Gil's playing like crap, too.

Simply put, once Miller and Oberto went out everything fell apart.
Bye bye Beal.

Young might be the worst player in the NBA right now. Are we playing zone? How can you leave two straight shooters open in the corner? WTF.

I have never been the homer type to complain about calls but these first 2 games have been rediculous. The refs hate us

The refs aren't turning the ball over and dribbling into traffic. I almost think we need Mike James, but I won't go that far.

Simply put, an offensive foul on Gilbert is 2 free throws for Crawford on the other end.

The refs are giving the Hawks incentive to attack, and rewarding them, while we are turned into a jump shooting team. Gil had a great rhythm early but lost it due to these refs. Let alone MM being taken out of the game.

Blatche playing very well though.

Again, refs didn't cause that horrendous play at the end of the first quarter. Or Haywood's lack of hustle and zero rebounds.

The refs are stealing this game, why oh why couldn't we keep the replacements.

Return to Washington Wizards
